We purchased over 50 new and replacement windows from Moeller-Reimer, a subsidiary of Cardinal Windows. Salesperson Wayne came to the job site and measured. We then discovered that 4 replacement windows were either measured or manufactured wrong, and are about 7 inches too short in height and widths. The openings are permanent brick and the windows have built in sills, so "trimming them out" (as they suggested) will look ridiculous. The regional manager Joe Mott eventually came out and he maintains they did nothing wrong and will not replace them. Everyone involved in this construction project as well as neighbors, family, and friends, are not only shocked but outraged that Moeller-Reimer refuses to fix their blatant error.

The openings are permanent brick and the windows have built in sills, so "trimming them out" (as they suggested) will look ridiculous. Everyone involved in this construction project as well as neighbors, family, and friends, are not only shocked but outraged that Moeller-Reimer refuses to fix their blatant error. We have no choice other than to eat THEIR error and re-order all four windows (obviously with someone else) at $475.00 EACH for a total of almost $2000.00. We will try to recoup some of the loss in small claims court.
