I've only been here a few times as it is a drive from my house in the suburbs, but each time it is worth it. The toppings could be a little more generous, but the flavor is wonderful. Kind of a sweeter sauce, and a nice take on St.Louis style pizza. I love the decor inside, very very 70's and worth checking out if you'd like something different and want to take a chance on a place with their own take on a familiar flavor.

My family has been eating at Frank and Helen's for 4 generations. We have celebrated birthdays, adoptions, births and engagements all at Frank and Helen's. The staff is always friendly and the pizza and broasted chicken can't be beat!

I was a patron of this restaurant for 25 years. My last 3 visits have been so poor. The hostess brings the wrong drink, the steaks are burnt and lacking the minced garlic of days gone by. Finally, the pizza tonight was served cold and the crust was burnt. Management offered no solution to the problem but demanded payment. So sad for one of U. City's EX-finest sitdown restaurants.

PROS: sit down restaurant
CONS: cold, burnt food - the customer is always WRONG

Frank and Helens is to me almost a landmark. It was opened in 1956. I think their broasted chicken is some of the best in the area. They also have good pasta and great pizza. I also like their house salad dressing and it is a creamy garlic. They also sell their house dressing at super markets. I like going to this place to have dinner.
