Dobbs Tire & Auto Center #21 Promenade, poor customer care
by john s.
Poorly handled situation. Shopped here before, but no longer! They replaced the wrong tire! When the issue was raised, the manager commented that if I wasn't the one to drop off the car, how could I be sure what information had been given. It was in print on their "in house" document! I asked if we could call his boss and was told no and that I couldn't use the store phone! Thank goodness for cell phones. After speaking with the higher up manager (who recognizes the need for customer satisfaction), I did receive a free tire and was sold the matching tire at wholesale price. However, the situation was handled in an unprofessional way. So, buyer beware! Check the work before you leave the store and know who to talk with when you have a problem. I wouldn't have had to buy a new tire if the work had been done right the first time.

DOBBS TIRE IN FENTON IS GREAT
by Kay O.
I just want to say the people at the Fenton Dobbs tire are wonderful. They are always very nice, They never take advantage of a senior woman alone, as alot could and would do. They have always been very honest and helpful. It is very reassuring to me to know I can trust them completely. I am very grateful to them and glad they are just across the way.

Beware of Dobbs
by Robert D.
BEWARE OF DOBBS TIRE AND AUTO!
I brought my running vehicle to Dobbs for minor emissions work. I applied for their in-house credit. My vehicle was returned barely running with wiring problems. When I refused to pay for their mistakes I was told that they already charged my credit and would not remove charges.
Dobbs mechanics made no mention of this in report so corporate denies my claim.
BEWARE OF DOBBS TIRE AND AUTO!
They do not admit their mistakes and will not make good on them. There are plenty of other auto shops to choose from, don't take chances on being the next victim.
BEWARE OF DOBBS TIRE AND AUTO!
I gave them one star because I could not give them less.

I get basically all my car work done here and have been very pleased. The staff is courteous and I've never been overcharged. They work fast and have lots of appointment times available.

Best service in town!
by Gketg5
I have been going to the Promindade Dobbs (formerly Brentwood Dobbs when it was at its former site next to Applegates on Brentwood Blvd) for 20+ years. They do a great job at servicing all makes and models no matter how old. I had them service Nissan, Honda, Chevy, Pontiac, Dodge and Plymouth. NEVER a disapointment, NO hard or misleading sales tactics or surprises, and always ready when promised. These folks know what they are doing!
I've sent others there and have never had anyone tell me they weren't satisfied or paid more than fair price. Convinced my new neighbor to go there since she needed second opinion on service. Got same service at better price with better warranty. Finally, this is THE place to buy tires - best selection and best prices.
This Dobbs does honest work. Go there!!!

Robbery. Do not trust these guys. Beware of their scare tactics.
by liquidsaiga
We went in to have oil change and check a mysterious clicking noise coming from rear. They said the front and rear break pads were worn down, the front and rear rotors were "too thin to be machined" and the front calipers needed to be replaced because of a leak. They continued to press the issue by saying the breaks could stop working without notice because of the leak they found.
The total cost of parts and labor was going to exceed $1000! A second opinion found nothing wrong with the breaks and fixed the noise by lubricating the trunk latch.
Go somewhere else.
