My son has been participating in Tae Kwon Do for 9 months at Park's Martial Arts. While my experience is limited to his studio, I cannot say enough good things about it. Grand Master Park displays strong integrity and a great presence as an instructor to all levels. In response to Stacy K, I am surprised that having such "rigorous" training, she did not learn that Martial Arts, all developed from the same root, from Shaolin Monks. The different styles of Martial Arts developed over the centuries and varied according to the people and the location (land) they occupied. Should we expect the standards of one college student's experience to dictate what is appropriate for the children of this community? I give Park's Martial Arts my highest praise and recommendation.

I have been going here for 8 years, and I have been to other martial arts places before going here, in between, and in college while I was in Nursing School. Park's Martial Arts is a wonderfully structured, physically fit, high-quality of instruction place to go. It is great for families, kids, teens, and even the very young and old. While on the expensive side, anyone who joins will find out soon enough it's well worth the money.

Let me start by saying that I judge martial arts schools under a different standard than the regular Jane having studied under a rigorous instructor during my college years. These consumer oriented schools are a bit of a joke catering to "softies". Not the the instructors here are bad. Just that the quality of students they get more or less forces them to water down their instruction. Another pet peeve is that it is so much about getting you through testing cycle with so many layers of belts with no real purpose other than helping their profits.
