Peanut Downtown

Sure, this bar is located downtown. The great thing about it tho is that it feels like a normal bar. Simple, straightforward, and to the point. Also, the second floor is dedicated to music, which is an added bonus. I've seen my buddy rap there, and although the performing area is pretty low-tech, the close confines of the place is what gives it character. Also, not a whole lot of places in Kansas City hold hip-hop shows, so when you find one that does, its a fine sight to see.
