Missouri Hick Barbeque

We ate with a large group. Service was good and food was delicious. Pork Tenderloin was a bit dry; but the pulled pork was tender, both had good flavor. We will eat there again. There is so much on one plate, not sure I'd want larger side portions. The meat is the focus of this meal.

meat portions big for me THE SIDES WERE SMALL FOR ME BUT I AM 250 LBS AND I EAT MORE THAN MOST AND IF I NEED MORE AT $1.49 A SIDE I THINK I CAN AFORD TO ORDER MORE WE DONT EAT OUT MUCH AND BBQ ONCE IN AWILL AND I WILL GO AGEAN I JUST ORDERD TWO TERKYS FOR THANKSGIVING .

First off, to Barbara-if you want enough for 2 adults, why would you not look at the portions before you left? You have to get at least a pint of each side. To Stacey-there is now a handicap parking space. For Kim G.-it never takes 15 min to get silverware. And if it did-you should have asked sooner! Seeing as how you were there in July, they were most likely busy and ran out. He has recently upped the amount of silverware available.

Not worth it. Picked up takeout recently and for $23, got 1 pound brisket, 6 small ribs, 2 child-size portions of sides when asked for enough for 2 adults.

If you have a disability - Don't try to stop and get some of the BBQ, there is No handicap parking and no signage 2. No hard surface for access to building 3. Restrooms are inaccessible 4. Lavatories are inaccessible.

We have been here 3 times and every time the food and service gets worse. The ribs are fatty and multiple people brought their food back to the kitchen. The portion sizes are much less than what you are paying for. It took 15 minutes to receive silverware after our food arrived. If you want to waste your money, then be my guest and see for yourself how bad it is. Trust me... I was a server in restaurants for 7 years until I graduated from college and no longer needed to work at a restaurant anymore.

Our guests from out of state agreed that it was the worst place we ate at their entire trip.

Not sure where these people ate bbq that was that good as it wasn't Missouri Hick. That had to be the worse tasting ribs we have ever ate. Pulled pork and beef brisket was ok. Not something I would drive all the way from St. Louis to ever eat again. Iced tea came from a bag of premixed stuff, it tasted worse than instant tea. Pretty bad when best thing we ate was the bbq sauce. Very disappointed.

If you want good bbq, try Pappy's Smokehouse at Cardinal and Olive in St. Louis.

Missouri Hicks serves some of the best BBQ that I have ever eaten, and perhaps the very best. I travel a lot and these guys are
a real treat. Priced reasonable, servings are large, meat is tender and flavorful. Worth the stop.

MO Hick has very good food and is very reasonable. We eat there quite often. The pulled chicken salad is my favorite. It is huge, lasts 2 meals for me. I encourage everyone to try it. We also order the family deals when my sisters come to town. Everyone requests it.

this is the real deal....great bbq...big portions....cheap....and the kids eat for free ( i'm not sure what the cut off age is though)....my husband and i go every chance we get.....cuba is about an hour for us to drive but it is worth the drive. enjoy it.....we do!

Missouri Hick is located in a beautiful building that is loaded with charm. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a wide selection of barbecued items and traditional sides, such as baked beans and coleslaw. The food is excellent and the prices are good, too.
