We recently had our Saturn in to get worked on after a accident where our LH front wheel slid into the curb. The estimate included tie rod ends that where on the RH side of the car that were replaced less than 9 months previous and were not bad. While working on the car they were pressing a bearing out of the hub and bent it causing the repairs to be $1900 instead of the $900 quoted. At that point we turned it over to insurance because we couldn't pay that amount out of pocket. When they called to tell me about the hub they said it couldn't be pressed out & needed to be replaced, so I told them that I would come pick it up and press it out myself at my granddads shop. Then the truth came out & informed me that they bent the hub and it needed to be replaced. I didn't feel that we should have to pay for there mistake so I informed the insurance company of this as well and Saturn proceeded to call and leave me a nasty voice mail stating that if the insurance company doesn't pay for the hub that we would be liable for the extra parts and labor that were incurred due to there tech bending the hub. After two weeks of waiting for them to repair the car and insurance to investigate the issue we received our insurance check and was informed by our agent to take it to Saturn and sign it over to them. My girlfriend did as she was told and when she tried to do so they wouldn't except the third party check from All State and told her that if we wouldn't have turned them in in the first place we never would have had this problem. We feel they tried to take advantage of us and that they were dishonest in not telling us to begin with that the hub was bent right away instead of trying to hide it from us. I brought this to the attention of the service manager and he said that they can't help that our hub was rusty. It is state law to carry shop insurance for things of this matter and they wouldn't even acknowledge that they did anything wrong. I'm a Tech myself and know that what they did is wrong and unethical. Don't do business with Saturn of Tiffany Springs.

We liked this place. They gave a fair price - you knew what the price was from the beginning. We were not trading, so do not know if they pull the "haggle" dealing with a trade. We ended up with a Toyota, but had a good experience with this dealership.
