Chuy Arzola's Tex-Mex Rstrnt

I had a great time at Chuys the food was great and the live music was excellent. I had The Austin and it was very tasty!! Im really looking forward to Ladies Night on Friday.

I went to Chuy's with a group of friends over the weekend. I was a little worried since there was 15 in our group but everything was perfect. They arranged a table for us very promptly and we had chips and salsa before I knew it. Since we had a group, two servers waited on us. Both very friendly and well trained. Even made menu suggestions for a few friends that had never been there. Our food arrived very quickly and everything was perfect. I had the Austin - my personal favorite. I think I could eat that everyday and never get enough! It was scrumptious! One of the people at my table ordered the tamales. She was kind enough to share since I had never had them before. WOW! I will be having those at my next visit. What a pleasant evening!

We took a large group here as well, and they handled us just fine. It sounds like the other reviewer is drunk.

Chuy's is the best mexican food in st louis - no one else comes close.

My only beef with this restaurant is the organization (or lack thereof) of their staff. In an attempt to serve food so quickly, they have way too many waiters/waitresses running around at once... They could make due with half of them. You can tell some of them have never waited tables before, so some degree of training would be helpful.

Other than that, this place is great.

Chuy's has a happy hour, which makes their margaritas a really good deal. Their margaritas are made with real lime juice, are my personal favorites.

Okay, so the food isn't the most authentic Mexican you'll find, but that doesn't mean that it's not good. The service here is also impeccable, and you'll have a good time all around.

PROS: Good margaritas, cheap eats
CONS: Long waits, busy

We took a group of 14 on Saturday night. Our waiter was wonderful, there was a variety of Mexican food and it was good, the drinks were fine. After dinner, most of us moved to the bar area tables to clear out the dining area for other diners, we were finishing our drinks and waiting for our bill there, it started to rain outside, they YELLED at us that they had to have those tables too for the people that were eating outside, we were drinking at those tables-still spending money. We asked for our bill and were told that we could wait for our bill while we STOOD IN THE CORNER by the front door. We spent $350 there and won't be back~~their loss! Twenty minutes later when we finally got the bill, not one person had moved to those tables!!! Rude. Very, very rude!!! We eat out in a group on a regular basis and have never been treated so badly by anyone.
