A sign on the door said Grassi's West is closed to the public, and there is a "for lease" sign. Does anyone know what is going on there? Say it aint so! True, the place is not an architectural gem, but I love the neighborhood feel, the

A italian restaurant off of Lindbergh in the Fronteac area on German Blvd. Its kinda tucked away, but well worth the search. Great sports and tv area set up for those who want to watch. And a great fast moving salad and soup bar. I had the Terry sandwich and it was the best sandwich I've ever had!

This salad saved my life. I had just had major surgery. Nothing tasted good at all. After a couple days, someone brought me a Grassi's salad. The next day I was dancing in my hospital room.
The staff could not be any nicer...........the food is always fresh. It's not about the atmosphere here......it's all about the food and service.
Enjoy

Pros: Great, fresh house salad

Cons: Could use new floor, paint and furniture
