I began banking with Union Planters - now Regions Bank - in the fall of 2005. I have begun to switch once again.

From the beginning, things were not right. The temp. checks the 'financial planner' gave me had the wrong number on them. And she didn't discover this until after I had paid several bills and the T-shirt fund at my daughter's school.

The location on Paris Rd is the worst. The tellers and service rep.'s are not friendly people. And it's not just me. I've noticed this snooty behavior with others.

What distresses me the most, is that they require a driver's license when making a deposit and withdraw at the same time. Both threw the drive-thru and in the lobby. Four times, I have had to return to the bank because they have not given me my driver's license back. Four separate times, once was inside.

The term: full disclosure is not in their vocabulary. I've gone through the drive-thru to withdraw cash - which they happily put in the tub; only to discover the next day, that it pushed me into overdraft. Why could they not say something? Other banks say something like "If you take this amount out, you will be overdrawn by X amount. Is that okay?" But these people say nothing.
I believe that is wrong. Do they just want to collect overdraft fees? This is the only conclusion I can draw.

PROS: Locations are convenient
CONS: Too many to list here - see above
