The management of this restaurant has changed on 3rd week of March 2013. So all reviews before that, pertain to the previous India's Kitchen which was a 4/5.\r
The current management advertised South Indian

Love this place. The weekend buffet is awesome. The naan is ALWAYS hot, fresh and abundant...they are never stingy with the naan like other restaurants are.
The staff is very friendly-although their English is somewhat minimal.
There are a lot of Indians who eat here, especially with their family's so I am assuming the food is pretty authentic. I just know that I LOVE almost every thing they have.
(except the Palak Paneer- I hate spinach-but my husband LOVES it so much he ALWAYS orders it along with his other meal)
Anyway, I have had Indian food all over the country, and so far, India's Kitchen is my favorite.

Don't know about the other reviews, I have been going here since shortly after they opened (2001). Now that I have moved back to St.Louis (2008) I am eat here once a week without fail. The owners and staff are friendly and always have a smile.
I prefer the buffet for lunch as you can have a variety of great food.
Wished I lived closer but maybe it's better that I don't.

I only go here for the lunch buffet so I can't speak for the other dining options they have. That being said, it's definitely my favorite Indian buffet place because it's close, tastes good, and will fill you up and then some.
I love the round ball desserts they have but sometimes they're not available. If the price of the buffet was $1 or $2 cheaper I would be going there every other week! I love curry, especially the orange tofu and chicken one they have, and I never liked green curry to begin with so I won't rag on me not liking it here either. There's not too much to say, since the buffet is pretty simple and the service is fine. Good place for hungry ppl looking for Indian buffet.

Pros: Tasty food, I always get full
Cons: Would like if buffet was $1 or $2 cheaper
We have been eating here for about 5 years and it remains of our favorite places to eat. We are both vegetarians and we have so many tasty choices here. The buffet offered seven days a week at lunch is full of vegetarian choices. Sometimes I order off the menu as well. The food is spicy but that's Indian Food and why some love it and others don't. The servers are so friendly and always provide great service. They remember where you like to sit and even drink HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE A FAN OF INDIAN CUISINE!

My husband and I figured we would try out this Indian restaurant on Christmas day 2007 since that was all that was pretty much open and the fact we love indian food.
We get our meal and their were DEAD CREATURES!!! I kid you not!!! It was absolutely disgusting!! We found it in our rice!!!!
When we told the server, he didnt even apologize and we left RIGHT AWAY!!!
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!
Never again!
I couldn't eat indian food for a good year from that experience!!

Pros: none
Cons: SMALL CREATURES IN OUR FOOD
They have my favorite chicken curry in the city. I've been to their restaurant many times and have never had a bad meal there or bad service. They're courteous and friendly. We've ordered off the menu and shared as well as tried everything off of multiple buffets.
It's right off Manchester Road.

India's Kitchen has a great lunch buffet and top-notch service. The food selection was good (beef, chicken, vegetable entrees) and very tasty. The price for the buffet was a little high, but the atmosphere and service make up for it 100%.

I didn't like Indian food until I ate here. Now I can't get enough of it! I don't understand half the stuff on the menu and go for the dinner buffet when they have it so I can have a variety of dishes.
You can't ask for better service - every time I have been here the service is better than any other place I have been!

My family approached this restaurant cautiously after the first two reviews we read. However, after eating there twice we have a totally different opinion than previous reviewers. The service was fast, attentive, and friendly. The food has been consistently good both in taste and appearance. We will come back and totally recommend this restaurant to our friends.

I'm very spoiled where my Indian is concerned! While I'm not Indian, I thoroughly enjoy Indian cuisine and have experienced it dining out as well as by Indian hosts. I know good Indian cuisine when I eat it! This establishment is, to say the least, the WORST ever! First of all, the place is not at all spacious, so seating took awhile, which I don't mind if it's worth the wait - which it certainly was not. The service was sooooooooooo slow and impersonal. Not to be judgemental - maybe because we were the only WASPS there, not accompanied by Indian people may have been odd and they had to take some time to analyze the situation...I really don't know. Since it was our first dining experience there, I tried something very simple -Tandoori Chicken, which was fine. However, my son who has an Indian girlfriend, stepped out and ordered other items, which entailed heavier sauces - the rest of my family did too. The dishes resembled mush; the ingredients were so broken down that it looked like lumpy gravy! Honestly, it was very difficult to establish whether or not meat or vegetables were really meat and vegetables! This stuff had to have been setting around and simmering for quite some time. Like I said, the Tandoori was fine, but, it too, was drier than you would expect. In short, the only thing that even resembled Indian "fine dining" was the fact that everything was A la Carte - even the Naan bread!!!! That was a first!!! So - fine dining? Not so much! (other than the prices and A la Carte!).

The food is bad. They let down India with this kind of food. When you ask them for medium spice they make it very spicy and un consumable.
