I like this clinic because the staff are helpful and nice, the doctors really care about animals. I'll never go back to the groomer there - two bad experiences were enough. I was sick to my stomach over her description of growing up in a puppy mill - and she didn't sound like she thought it was a bad thing either. Her lack of consideration for the animals showed, she let us stay sure but nicked both animals we took and shaved off every single nipple on our dog who'd never been bred, her nipples were not prominent. There were more than a few areas of razor burn. When I brought it up she called the vet in and he advised on how to care for it until it healed, she said sorry.I've heard some nasty rumors about the vet's overdosing animals on sedatives during surgery and as far as I've experienced they don't used the newest drugs, nor do they do monitoring aside from 'watching' the animal. We had to specifically ask for pain control after a spay. They will bargain on price with several animals. I've never felt lied to or cheated at this clinic - ever, unlike some.Over all it's not a state of the art clinic but I think the doctors have a good practical knowledge of animals and they care, making it a great country clinic. The curb appeal at least can't be beat.
