After checking out prices on the website of all the dealers in the area I seen some trucks at the Fletcher Toyota that were within my price range. I drove down to look at them and found all the trucks, but with prices that were $4-5000 higher than the online price. After asking about the online price the sales reps looked confused and would only refer to the window price. I said screw it with those guys and called up the online manager who was actually off that day but gave me another number of someone who worked at the lot. After calling them and verifying they did have the vehicle he said he would confirm the price and features then call my right back. Nothing happened after that. I sent an e-mail to the online manager who replied when he got back to work. Unfortunately all he did was confirm the trucks were in stock and gave me now a different price than what was online and sticker price. I said screw it and went to another dealer where I purchased a Tundra. At the time I didn't think of getting a front license plate and thought no big deal I will go to the Joplin dealer and purchase one. I waited 10 minutes on the parts department to try and figure out a license plate for a Tundra and got nowhere. I simply turned around and walked out. It seems nobody knows what going on there.

I went to Fletcher's big super deal sale and was shocked that the big prices in the window that made you pull over and test drive cars are not the cars' actual price. (false advertising if you ask me)
The actual was 2500$ higher. Then after looking at my app my average credit score warranted them to finance at 29 percent (they insist that the sales tax must be finced also?) compound! I know you cant blame a dealer for what the bank does, but its a toyota lot and their toyota bank. There was no interaction with the person makes the desision on how or what to finance at. I had no control over where i needed my payments to be at. I didnt know the sale price was going to be 25 percent higher. I didnt find any of this this out until after another day and several more hours at the dealership! A used car should not cost the same as a new car and at the end of my experience i calculated the if i paid the same as what they "required" i could by a brand new car in the same or better class antwhere else in town (I walked out at that point.) I believe time is money. I wasted a lot of it and that could've been avoided by some communication upfront and someone at this larger sized dealership who represents and specializes in the financing department. I do not reccomend this dealership to anyone who is an average joe. If you are better off than an average joe buy a mercedes,cadillac or a lincoln. If you really want a toyota go to tulsa or springfield for it. Lynch toyota of St. Louis does a good job of working with average joes. Stay away from fletcher!
