El Chico Bakery has been around for 12 years! I love to go there on the weekends and buy tamales. They have a wonderful variety of baked goods at a very reasonable price! Some of my favorites are orejas, teleras, empanadas, pastel de 3

Pros: Delicious

Cons: Price a little high, but I'm cheap. I want everything for free.

This place has pretty good pan (hispanic sweet bread) but their cakes are terrible. I ordered a birthday cake for 50 people there and the cake was stale and just gross. I had also had my wedding cake order placed there and when I went to cancel it due to the poor product I recieved from them they didn't want to refund me my $200.00 deposit. Not good business.

El Chico Bakery is a small family owned business started by a mother and daughter from the storeies I have heard. They have traditional Mexican specialties and other desserts as well. Conchas, sweet bread, empanadas, cookies and pastries are some of the items they are known for. You can walk in this store with less than 10 dollars and walk out with some very tasty items. The prices here are very cheap. One popular item they have on the weekend is their tamales you can purchase. I would reccommend purchasing enough to bring home with you as you will be tempted to eat them before you walk out of the store.
