Bissinger's presents a Triple Threat to the competition: 1) Hand Crafted, 2) Old Family Recipes circa 1700's (!), and 3) Top ingredients- resulting in a loyal and expanding customer base. I live in California, so thank you for catalog and internet service. Lots of products to choose from but here are our favorites:
Me-anything with nuts, especially the almond or pecan bark, dark or milk.
Husband-olive oil truffles.
Daughter 1-mints and non-pareils.
Daughter 2-mints and caramels.
We all agree, when in season you cannot go wrong with the strawberries, raspberries or blackberries.

Some of the richest, smoothest Chocolate I have ever had. Everything is handmade or should actually say hand-crafted. Valentines and Christmas brings out even more delicacies. They say there are over 900 different confections that they make by hand.
5Avoid this place at all costs. I heard the manager himself saying he hated his clients, they were either all hamosexuals (he put it the other way though, think f a g s) or senior citizens he hates to put up with. His words, not mine. I

Pros: no pros I can think of
Cons: terrible management
My husband got me some of their nonpariels for Christmas last year and I savored them for weeks. Their chocolate is premium and very smooth. They have a great selection. They are very pricey but it is a special treat and worth it.
PROS: Premium chocolate
CONS: Very expensive

There is nothing more that I can say! They are the best for chocolate, they are pricey, but such a wonderful indulgence. We wait every year for the chocolate covered blackberries. Heaven on earth!!!
5The quality of Bissinger chocolates is up there with the finest european suppliers. If you can come across the store during blackberry season (september, I believe) you will find an exquisite treat. They have specially grown blackberries the size of golf balls, coated in fondant then dipped in black, milk. or sugar free chocolates. It is the most amazing chocolate and we visit every time we get the chance.
