I would not hire this company. All jobs are high pressured sales. And if that's not bad enough all jobs are priced starting at 310% higher than going rate. If you don't go for that the salesmen won't leave till you commit. They will lore

I had a man by the name of KEN come into my home trying to sell me a door. First he was hardly making sense saying things like "It must be all the drugs I did when I was younger".

We are so pleased with our new windows and shutters. Last year we used another company so I can say without a doubt that Midtown is a far superior company in every aspect, price,product and service.Most of all their workers and staff are easy to work with and they really care. They do a good cleanup and seem to like what they do. Seems like the other reviews here did not really do business with Midtown so how would they know what I know?

Sales man showed up while I was finishing up yard work and spoke with my wife in the driveway. He started with trying to make a connection asking about family and our lives blah blah blah.... I clearly hear my wife ask about getting to the estimate for the soffits 3 times. He finally walks around the house not taking any measurements and I finish up yard work. I ask him for the estimate and he says he needs to speak with us for bit before he can give me the estimate. We had be somewhere in an hour so I told him it needs to be quick so lets go inside and do it. He says that we knew he needed an hour with us and I told him no one told me that. He says he has 13 years of experience and declines to even come in and leaves. If this company won't even give their potential customer an estimate without a sales pitch, I can only wonder how horribly they will treat you after they have you sign a contract. I've asked for estimates from other company's and contractors. After they gave me their numbers I was happy to sit and have them explain how the came up with their estimate.

During his visit he asked about our fence because it was a vinyl fence and it looked like something that Midtown has carried before. The sales guy asked how we liked the fence and everything with our fence has been great except about a year ago we had a strong wind open our gate and slam in closed causing the latch to break. Without us even asking the sale guy took our information down and was going to have the warranty information looked up to see what Midtown could do for us. A few days later we got a call from Midtown and was told that they would come out and fix the latch at no cost to us. Then to top it off the guy that came out to do the latch repair told us that the hinge is also cracked and that he would need to talk with his supervisor about the hinge. We got a call another few days later stating that Midtown would also repair the hinge at no cost. True unexpected good service considering we did not initiate any of the original damage claims. Thank you Midtown.

My parents used this company to do a COMPLETE remodel of the kitchen. It was a huge job they could have done themselves, but they didn't have the time.\n\nMidtown never actually had a REAL plan. The plan they worked off was a drawing...seriously. And they never checked the measurements so as they were installing they found cabinets didn't fit and the sink wasn't centered. They compensated, but ended up with a lopsided kitchen with a cabinet sticking out on one side and an open space of NO cabinet on the other. \nEven putting in a door they put in a larger door than was planned which sounds like a good thing, but it ruins the flow and makes the lopsided kitchen stand out more. \nMy parents tried to point out some of the issues and ask them to resolve them correctly as they went, but Midtown kept saying they were doing what was in the contract. They acted like the door being different than the contract was a GIFT to them or something.\n\nI wish my parents had withheld payment from these guys cause now they regret not doing the kitchen themselves and are out a very large sum of money.\n\nFind another company that measures and uses a real plan. Don't mistake the service either. These guys were not respectful or considerate to my parents at all and treated them like they were stupid. \n

The process took a while longer than we expected but the person from Midtown explained everything in detail and straight forward. We clearly understood everything when he was done. We would definitely contact Midtown again for any future projects and gladly recommend them to our friends.

I needed a fence replaced. After several estimates from other companies I chose Midtown. After completion of the work I was very satisfied with the job. Several months later there was some damage caused by my neighbor. Even thought it was not under warranty Midtown came out and fixed it and did so at no cost. That is service after the sale. What a rare thing in this world. Thanks Midtown, next time we need anything Midtown will get the call.

Several months later there was some damage caused by my neighbor. Even thought it was not under warranty Midtown came out and fixed it and did so at no cost. That is service after the sale. What a rare thing in this world. Thanks Midtown, next time we need anything Midtown will get the call.

I told him like I said I don't have one I told you I would keep you in mind. He still kept talking loud as my back was turned to him. I called the number on the paper and talked to Barry Ginsberg the owner, he wasn't sympathetic and he said he did not know who they\n were. Did not apologize, nothing. The other owner is pat Nelson but he was not in. They need to know they are on private property and when someone is not interested they need to leave. Scare tactics do not work. I actually called the police. And then see the crap work they do in reviews\n Steer clear.......give reputable businessmen and women your business in st Louis and st Charles county. Shame on the owner!!!!!!!!!!!

Very high pressure sales, but once the contract is signed, all the promised prompt and courteous service ends. You can talk to the receptionist as often as you want. Neither of the co-owners will return a phone call. By the sheer number of poor reviews on multiple sites, it is obvious this company's focus is sales not service. Satisfied customers do not seem to be a priority for Midwest Home Improvement. Anyone who has had poor service and workmanship should contact the BBB; they do NOT deserve their current rating.

The windows were dirty and the caulk job was sloppy. The hardware bends when you open and close the windows. Outside coloring was chipping before the windows were installed. I would be happy if I paid about a third the price. Product and install below expectations.

Workmanship is awful. High pressure sales tactics. Replacement windows don't fit correctly so they covered them up with cheap looking trim and a lot of sealer. Sealer all over the trim and wood and brick. Screens had holes. one window wouldn't shut all the way. Windows not as salesman described finished project to be.

Everything that they promised was true. Workmen performance was excellent!! Sales staff was friendly and very knowledgabe. Support staff are awesome. Thanks for the GREAT work.
