They will look to blame you for any problem with your small engine--including the use of ethanol, as if the consumer can somehow control what oil companies produce. They may under-estimate the problem with your mower or weedeater in order to collect the minumum $40 diagnostic charge.</p> <p>Better to go to the big chains and save a few dollars and take your chances with repairs. Instead, they'll tell you that they &quot;will call before doing any estimated repairs.&quot; They will make the call, but if you decide against the work--$40. Perhaps this is a necessary fee, but they would be more reputable and honest by communicating their policy to their customers.</p> T.
