My 2000 Chevy Impala has been stopping while I was driving for over a year now. Finally we decided to just park the car in the garage after paying well over $3000 and several attempts to get this problem fixed. After a discussion with one of the technicians, I was told that it was probably a malfunctioning sensor that was causing the problem. It took one day and the problem was fixed and I have been enjoying my car every since. Now, I have been able to save the cost of purchasing and licensing a new car. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Ronsick's and I could kick myself for not going to them prior to this. I would refer anyone who wants a good dependable mechanic to Ronsick's Auto Care
We had the transmission replaced by Ronsicks on our Honda Odyssey last year. They didn't replace all the brackets & now will have to spend another $3,200 to replace it again (mileage is too high for warranty replacement). This breakdown occured out of town. This is the second vehicle Ronsicks replaced the transmission on for us. The first also needed to be redone in less than a year, but was still under warranty. Two for two is not a good record. We had been going to Ronsicks since we moved here in 1984 and recommended this shop to friends, but now we will not be returning, ever!!! As an earlier post said, the people we trusted there are gone.
We moved from 63114 to 63034 in 2005 I had a wonderful place to take my SUV after we moved I still took my car to 63114 until I found Ronsick. Things change and people sell their businesses. I took my SUV to Ronsick and the mechanics there were kind to this older lady..much better than the Firestone across the street (my husband takes his car to there for oil change only he said no customer service skills). Ronsick employees are professional, know how to treat a senior citizen, a Big plus for customer service skills and they are open til 10pm. I am taking my SUV there now for a slow leak they will check all tires and send me on my way.
We started going to Ronsicks because my Dad had his car serviced there when he & Mom moved to Florissant after the Airport buyout. He was retired from Barford Chevrolet and really did his homework before he trusted anyone with his car. After their passings, my family & I continue to only use Ronsicks even though we moved to South County since they give honest, dependable customer service!

This is a familiar name around town. This family owned business has several locations and does most automotive work. From oil changes and tires, to repairs, this is the place to go. I have been using them for years and highly recommend them.
PROS: great service, several locations
CONS: busy on the weekends
