By golly, it is nice to find a place that can cook an egg. I have had quite a few yummy breakfasts at Rosie Jos.

Located in a small strip mall at the corner of Hwy 14 and Road NN in Ozark, Mo, this smaller restaurant is chock-full of small-town goodness.

It appears most of the customers are locals but even strangers are treated in a friendly manner. No pretensions or uppityness here. Come as you are. Dirty work clothes or your Sunday best just come on in.

I enjoy their affordable breakfasts. My favorite is the two eggs any style, hash browns, two sausage patties (lean, non-greasy and tasty) and the biscuit and gravy.

It's a lot of food for a low price. And, you have choices. Substitute this and that for this and that. The options allow you to create a breakfast that suits your desires.

I haven't had anything other then the breakfasts since they are so tasty. Breakfast is served until 11 am. I have been there at that time when others were ordering various non-breakfast food and it smelled yummy as it passed by.

Sometimes the service isn't as quick as it should be but, that is a small price to pay for the atmosphere. The waitresses treat you as a person, a human, not as a revenue source to be interacted with as little as possible.

Ozark still has that "small-town charm" that is disappearing as the USA's population swells. Enter Rosie Jos and experience the ambiance that was likely present when Sheriff Taylor and Barney Fife kept the peace in Mayberry.

Went there for lunch yesterday and had a great experience. I saw fried pickles on there menu and had to try them. If you have never tried one you need to!!! I had cheese burger and it was very good. The service was fast and friendly. The great food and cheap price can't be beat. Try this out!
