I was visting my family and friends and was thinking about going to this place...but then I read all the reviews and was disgusted to think I might actually have contact with a rapist. I'll get my food from another place, one where rapist don't have a chance to be slippin 'fun pills' into drinks of little girls.

Too much rape in the food for my taste. Not very classy, I saw them giving some young teenage girls some clear liquid in the back room, and I heard lots of crying. I got sick from this place.

I would not recommend this restaurant because every single thing you order here comes with a side of rape. What's worse is that they do not allow you to customize your order in any way or request that the side of rape not be brought. And,

Service was mediocre at best, ordered an $18 fajita and got two ,mind you 'two' tortilla's with it and when I asked for an additional one as you couldn't eat it all with two I was told there would an additional charge for any more. First

The A&G is Maryville's answer to the "New York 5 Star Restaurant" while still maintaining a close community /family feel! It's a great place for large families to get together or just an intimate outing for two! Here you can enjoy an after dinner drink while the kids enjoy sipping a homemade milkshake!

The food is great- with my favorite for dinner being the Prime Rib! Its aged and cooked to your perfection! Every time we go there I tell myself I'm going to order something different than the Prime Rib...but once we get in & sit down, I see all the other great menu items for Chicken, Seafood, Pork etc,,,but I just can't get past the Prime Rib! It melts in your mouth!! So needless to say, I've had it SEVERAL times!
If your looking for a light lunch/dinner, then their Spinach Bacon Salad is absolutely wonderful- pair it with one of their soups and it won't ruin diet! Just thinking about the A & G has my mouth watering!

The owner is Greek and occasionally on weekend evenings he will come out & play live Greek music on the guitar! Very nice, upbeat atmosphere! I also believe that because the owner IS so hands-on with the food that is prepared & goes out, and with the staff, is what makes the A&G dining experience a pleasurable one and worth the amount spent!

As far as price goes- you know the ole' saying "you get what you pay for"... well you definitely get your monies worth at the A&G and then some! Their portions are normally more than I can eat so I end up with a box to take some home! I would say they are comparable in price to other upscale restaurants such as Red Lobster/Olive Garden but without the hour drive from home! Plus, you don't get the attention to detail & family/community connection that the A&G offers!

*Edited to Add:*
You'll want to show up early any weekend nights or during game day/ lrg.town events, as I don't believe you can "RSVP" a table/booth unless of course your a large group & will be using the Banquet Room! Otherwise, the typical wait is 20-30 minutes. But they are WORTH THE WAIT!! ENJOY!!!!

Their menu offers meals, appetizers, salads, soups and desserts to satisfy just about any craving you might have. My favorite dish is their cedar plank salmon. Just about any of their usually wide assortment of soups are fantastic. I do wish that they would lessen the spiciness of their chicken and shrimp jambalaya, Cajun food generally is not that spicy. It should be flavorful to the palate, not uncomfortable. The homemade mini bread loaves and honey butter served with most dishes is one of the highlights.

The remodeled dining area and the new Asian inspired dishware is very classy and inviting.

Pros: menu diversity, price

Cons: limited parking, usually crowded

The food here is really good, they have a nice selection of appetizers and a wide variety of foods on the menu. The waitstaff are friendly and know the menu well. Each time I have been it has been a pleasant experience.

If you are looking for an "upperclass" dining experience, this is one of the few place in Maryville, MO that can offer it. One of my favorite appetizers when I go out anywhere is spinach and artichoke dip. I have been to about 5 states and 10 years later, I have never had better than A & G.

The parking lot is not very large, and you have to get there pretty early, especially during any kind of family event or sporting game because it fills up quick. That just means it's good eats!
