Abner's is a restaurant selling chicken fingers. Period. Not the most exciting thing in the world, but the fried fingers are admittedly delicious. Not a huge fan of the grilled (soggy) fingers, or even the garlic bread. They also have nice platters available for catering.

Highly recommended for the chicken finger aficionado!

Abner's fried chicken reminds me of my mom's homemade southern fried chicken. It is delicious. Their garlic bread is so tasty, too. They also have great marinated grilled chicken. You can order the chicken by itself, with side items, on a sandwich, in a salad, or in a wrap. The atmosphere is sporty...decorated with corrugated metal, concrete, lots of SEC memorabilia, and several large televisions to watch the games. It's a great place for a Sunday afternoon lunch with the family or a pre-game meal. They also cater, which is great for tailgaters! If you are in town, you shouldn't miss this southern treasure.
