Since many stores in this mall are unoccupied, the parking lot looks a little unkempt [grass growing in the cracks].\r
It is a one story building.\r
A few years ago a new cinema was built directly in the middle of the mall blocking access

Pros: Movie Theater

Cons: Many stores are unoccupied

The Oxford Mall was once the place to go. They had a great variety of stores and no empty retail slots. The local Wal-Mart store was adjacent to the mall.

When we got a Supercenter and Wal-Mart moved out, it all started to go downhill. Stores closed (Waldenbooks, Sound Shop, Bath & Body Works) or moved elsewhere (Goody's, Dollar Tree, Radio Shack, Claire's Boutique). This naturally has crippled the mall which is down to just a few stores (JC Penney, Hibbett Sports, Nailthology, Kings Den, and the Ole Miss Bookstore among a sparse few others) and a movie theater.

Currently there is a new theater under construction, and I sorely hope that this will breathe some life in to the mall. I'd hate to see it go under.
