This company has outstanding customer service. We purchased a new A/C & Heat system from Central Appliance in August. The owner came out to our house, sat down with us and asked us how we would like our A/C & Heating system to work for us. He was very attentive, took notes of what we wanted, measured our house and wrote down several details about our house and other information to determine the proper size unit for our house. He gave us his direct phone number and told us to call anytime. The install crew was professional and did an excellent job installing our unit. They were careful to keep our house and property clean and neat while they were working. I can't say enough about this company. I highly recommend Central Appliance to my family and friends!

The following is my personal opinion of Central Appliance based upon my personal experience with this company. I have had constant problems with my new heat pump/AC system, primarily with the quality of the work performed and with the thermostat. I have had to call them back to the house for at least 4 problems within 6 months. I would have no issues with the company if not for the poor quality of work performed, poor attitudes of the employees, and lack of customer care. Their communication and responsiveness concerning my service calls could not be worse. When I call the store they may or may not return my phone call. The times I have had to call them during off hours the owner will respond quickly on the initial call but then is completely unreliable after the initial contact. They do not take any initiative to work with the customer and they do not follow up or check the work performed by their employees. When you make an appointment they are always late and never call you before showing up. ""We'll knock this out first thing in the morning"" and they don't show up till the afternoon if at all. It appears to me that after the sale is complete they do not consider you a priority. Specifically concerning the quality of work performed, the electrical work was sloppy and unprofessional by their subcontractor. Duct work in the attic had to be reworked several times and they still did not get it right. \r\n Just to be fair, they are very busy and not everything goes according to plan, but, customers deserve to be treated with respect and deserve good service and I did not receive either. A professional organization will contact you on a regular basis and keep you informed of any changes in schedule or arrival times but this was never the case. When I call to find out where they are I just get a bad attitude and disrespect that I do not deserve as a paying customer. If I ever have to have another HVAC system put in my house I will not call these people again.\r\n
