The service can be slow at times but normally your eating a freshly made meal in 30 minutes or less. Service is good and polite. There crust is amazing, and they won't give you the recipe. Don't expect to be wowed by the building. It is a hole in the wall type place, but don't let that fool you. Price of the food is decent as well. I get out for under ten every time.

P.S. Voted MSU's best pizza by the student body.

We read gushing reviews about Strombolis online and decided to give it a try. The parking was haphazard, throughout the run down repair shop next door. Inside, the atmosphere is of your quintessential college-town local pizza shop, and has a lot of character. Our server was extremely polite. The restaurant was packed full, and there appeared to be a total of 3 employees serving the entire place. We waited about 50 minutes for our dinner (party of 4). Side salads were delivered after our entrees, and no where was it mentioned that the side salad would have meat (bacon) on it, so our vegetarian dining partner had to have hers remade. I also watched as a group of people who knew the employees get their food in about 15 minutes, while the table next to them continued to wait for over 45 minutes for their food. I would love to return and give it another try, but I'm very skeptical about waiting so long again. The food was pretty good, the usual pizza, calzones, strombolis, subs and a few pasta choices.

Stromboli's offers the best pizza in the twin states. I adore pizza with real cheese, spicy pepperoni, fresh vegetables and sauce that tastes like tomatoes. Stromboli's. Every pizza I have eaten from there was sinfully delicious. The cheese is plentiful and flavorful. The tomato sauce tastes like fresh tomatoes. The pepperoni is spicy enough to prove it is quality. The service in this small place is wonderful. Everyone is friendly and more than willing to help you have a better day. They have a huge collection of records(large CD's for you young'uns) that you can look through and ask to play. While you wait for your hand-tossed pizza you can eat fresh-hand-roasted peanuts and relax with a beer. They have $5 daily lunch specials that are a treat for the stomach and wallet. I cannot praise Stromboli's enough. Just one slice of pizza there and you'll be hooked!
