I have been going to the clinic as long as it has been open and probably will as long as Dr Buckley is there. But the lab is pitiful, this morning I was there for over an hour waiting for blood work. Just about the time I was about to reschedule visiting in the hallway was whiney woman who had come in well after I did, whining that she was late to work and lab tech had told her she would get her in and out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES I was livid her time is no more valuable than mine...... when I spoke to the lab tech she was like "OH WELL" maybe her ticket was printed before yours!!!! NOT THE CASE pick and choose---so now I get to back for an appointment to get orders for blood work else where.

This family has used this clinic for several years and we have always felt as if the care given was the best we could have gotten any where. Whether it was for a case of the flu or strep-throat, or some other odd ailment, the doctors were readily available and right on with the diagnosis and the treatment needed. We love the "bedside" manner of both doctors and have been well treated by every nurse and staff member as well. You, sometimes, may have to wait for quite some time before being seen but they are thorough with you when it is your turn. Both doctors take the time to know you as the individual not just another patient to be rushed through. And for the majority of the time, the treatment takes care of the illness on the first try...no second trips are necessary.

I've gone there several years and 45% of the time the first diagnose is not right. The staff is terrible. They apparently do not give doctors messages that you leave. With most you have to force them to speak to you or they will ignore you.I'm on this site now to try and find another Clinic.

I have been seeing the doctor's and Nurse Practitioners at the Lowndes Medical Clinic for several years and I have always been impressed. This last visit, however, was the best.

The nurse who escorted me back was so friendly. I was there for a stomach virus and felt about one step up from a smushed bug, so the kindness was very soothing. I noticed that they had made some improvements since my last visit there.

Every room now has a computer system in which they input your information. I am big into technology myself, and this seemed to really cut down on time in the room. Dr. Turner saw me. This was my first visit with Dr. Turner and he was great! He asked thorough questions but was also practical. When he learned my son had been ill with the virus and had been treated by another doctor, he saw no reason to test me to see if it were viral. I liked that because it saved me money and showed that he wasn't beyond using common sense.

He then asked if I had driven alone and when I answered yes, he decided against giving me a shot that could make me drowsy.

It was like a perfect mix of asking all the right questions and then making all the right decisions. The doctor as well as the nurse used the computer, showing they were familiar with the program.

When I left, I had to have my picture captured digitally--not my best picture in the world, I warrant--but again, I liked the idea of them getting faces connected with records. It's harder to confuse two people.

Overall, I think this is a wonderful place to be treated for common ailments. I only wish I could see them for other things as well.
