Gusick's Restaurant

This place was recommended by several people to us for the value and product satisfaction. I don't know why. We were in town for state wrestling and went on Friday night. We got right in and picked our choices. The gal who got our drinks was nice and effecient, however our waitress was horrible. So horrible, in fact we did not leave a tip (none was earned). She was flirting with the table behind me, or should I say the husband and kissing up to the rest of the family, but was rude to everyone else around. We witnessed her spilling 2 bowls of soup without a care or apology, rarely asked if we needed anything and quite frankly acted like we were an inconvenience. I would never recommend this place to anyone. She was spilling out the top of her shirt (wanting tips?), and her attitude was the pits. The food was ok, but not what I expected. I got the filet which came highly recommended and mushrooms. The mushrooms were canned and very few of them. We left very disappointed and will NEVER go back or tell others to do so. Don't waste your time.

We were a party of 7 and we made reservations (didn't have to wait). We ordered the prime rib and it was really chewy. Not at all worth the $20.00 per person. Service was very good until the waitress accused a person in our party of stealing a tip off of the table behind us. The busboy was supposely the one to see it. We asked to talk to the busboy and the waitress told us that he had gone home. I actually saw the waitress take the tip off of the table and put it in her pocket. I confronted her with what I had seen and of course she denied it. Will never go back again.

I eat lunch there every day & it is one of the first class
places left in town. I have patronized the Gusick's family
for over 30 years & have yet to have a bad meal or poor service!!
If you want home made, no micro wave food, this is the place to patronize. Jim cuts all his meat & all soups are
made from scratch. Triple AAA establishment!!!

this place get's 4 STARS for the best tasting food that i have hadand the t- bones are the best and i want to see if i can have my late berth day dinner there my NAME IS FRED MABE.AND TO REACH ME MY NUMBER 252-4606.and the place is very warm and inviting for a good time and.and palesent and the severice is beond good it is great

I know that they sometimes feel that they have too much business, but that is no reason to treat people like they are trash. We went there the other night and asked how long the wait. John's reply was 45 minutes to one hour. We said 'we can't wait that long". He said " Have a good evening see you." It sounded like 'too bad for you" I said "it isn't the wait, it's your attitude". The food vs the price and the atmosphere is much better at the Sud's Hut.

but I could get in alot of hot water considering how they pack the people in for the food, I just don't understand how though, it just isn't good, and I have been in their lounge having a few drinks and people that we know stop by our table to say hi and they even complain that the food was awful, but they will be back again next week, hmmm I wonder why
