Here's why MY DOGS and I give DogLogic a 5-star rating:

(1)Staff are extremely knowledgable about and USE dog language all day. This is DIFFERENT than people language. They know how to manage a pack and keep the dogs safe.

(2)My dogs have scheduled eat, hike, play, and rest times, and routine keeps dogs sane.

(3)My dogs are sensationally well socialized with other dogs, but only with the help of DL, who helped me train my dogs to be good pack citizens.

(4)I can call anytime to get an update on my dogs. I did this a lot when I just started going to DL, and do so now if my pups are injured or sick (with a non-infectious disease), and they are happy to give me a progress report. If they are not immediately available, they always call me back.

(5)Their knowledge of dog behavior, safety, and health is INSANE. I ask questions all the time and have learned so much. The passage of time as a dog owner has helped, but because of DogLogic, I have become a much better, more confident, and more responsible dog owner.

(6)They do monthly birthday parties and promos!

(7)They are smart enough to separate tiny & big dogs into separate play areas so small dogs don??t get stepped on and accidentally hurt

(8)They feed the dogs in separate kennels to keep them safe while they are eating, and are willing to manage medications, which, when the vet gives something that has to be taken 3 times a day, is impossible for me when I'm working!

(9)They called me when my one dogs was injured (probably on a hike) showed me her behavior (head bobbing), which I would have never noticed on my own since she wasn't limping. I trust they will call me if something is wrong.

(10)They really do it all- hikes, grooms, daycare, overnight, retail, etc. I like not eating up my gasoline getting these things done all around town.

(11)My one dog has dry pads, and DL knows I take care of this at home. Still, they took the time to tell (and show) me the consequences of not providing constant care for her pads. Sharing this was with the love of dog in mind, not a "selling point" to get an extra buck. They want the dogs to be happy and safe- at DogLogic and at the owner's home. How awesome is that?

(12)But the biggest reason they get 5 stars is because everytime I pick up my dogs, I see them in the pack before they see me, and they are happy and content in their environment

I'm sorry to hear about the person that reviewed before me, but my understanding is that he took it to the BBB and the BBB dropped the case and retained DogLogic's BBB rating. I don't know all the details, but I'm guessing if that was the outcome, then perhaps some of what he wrote is misinformation, inaccurate, an exaguration, or some combination of the three.

Rock on, Dog Logic! I trust you completely!

My experience with Dog Logic was pretty bad. This is going to be a long review but I'll try to keep it short. I'm really unhappy with this place and do not recommend anyone take their dog there.

When we first pulled up to board our dogs we were put off by the appearance of the building. Its basically a warehouse with no grass outside for dogs to play on and on the edge of an industrial area right next to the railroad tracks.

When we went inside, before we even brought our dogs in, we asked for a tour but were denied "for insurance purposes" (more on that in a minute). We are from out of town and aren't familiar with other boarding places (let alone this one) so we went ahead and boarded our dogs here. Our puppy is very timid and is extremely scared and submissive around other dogs, we can't even take her to dog parks without her freaking out, so we told the employee this and she said she would keep her in the "small dogs area" because it was empty.

So we left them there and came back the next day and met the owner of the business who informed us that my puppy had "sprained her knee" and couldn't put any weight on her back right leg. I was pretty upset because we left an emergency contact cell phone number that they neglected to use the day before when the injury happened. Then I saw both of my dogs in the main play area, bunched up in a corner with about 50 dogs surrounding them. They knew my dog was injured yet left her in with all the other dogs.

I asked how the injury happened and the owner told me she was playing with another puppy in the small dogs area when she fell off a plywood ramp. I really think I was lied to, my puppy is terrified of other dogs and I think she was in the main play area and was being chased by other larger dogs when she fell off the ramp and got hurt.

Then they brought our dogs out to us and I was heart broken to see my puppy hobbling on only three legs. She did nothing to deserve being injured and left in such a frightening situation. Normally when she greets me she is the happiest, wiggliest puppy you've ever seen but this time she just laid at my feet and whimpered. "She'll be alright in a day or two" is what the owner told me. I asked what the process will be if this is a serious injury like a broken leg or something, how do I get in touch with their insurance? Her exact response was "Well, we don't really have insurance for this sort of thing." My jaw dropped, I was in complete disbelief. I told her I really can't afford vet bills if this is serious, nor do I feel like I should be responsible for them and she mumbled something and walked out of the room. If I hadn't paid the day before I honestly would have just left without paying. Later I had them fax me a copy of the contract I signed and they have a catch all that says they are not responsible for your dog if it is injured or becomes ill under their care.

A moment after the owner turned her back on us the employee who checked us in the day before came in the front door, so I asked her the same question about insurance and she wanted to ask her boss, but I stopped her and said I already asked her but she didn't give us an answer and just walked away.

So we got our dogs home and I gave my puppy low dose aspirin and put ice on her hurt leg, and we now have an appointment with the vet to make sure her injuries are not severe. I highly recommend everyone stay as far away from Dog Logic as possible. If you love your dog at all you will not leave it under their "care and supervision".

DogLogic is the best place that I have found for my pup to play. I started bringing him there as a young pup so he could start his socialization. Thanks to them he is pretty much fearless, in a good way. The staff there is so nice, and willng to help all the time. Besides thier huge play area, they also have an amazing retail store. Great dog foods, fun toys and wonderful safety apareal. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!

I loved working there for almost 4 years as Lead Kennel & as a Groomer! I adopted 2 of my dogs from there & had 5 total. I now am down to 3 beautiful pitbulls named Nylla Wayfer, Hazel Havik, & Shamaya Star. I can't wait to work at another doggy daycare & maybe own one myself, along with a "Bully Breed" sanctuary, someday! Thank you soooo much for a wonderful opportunity & experience!!!

Doglogic is a great place to drop off your dog if you work in town. They also have a lot of pet food, toys and supplies. They do carry food that is hard to find and if they don't have it they will order it in for you.

What a neat idea they have going on there. I took my dog there when we went on vacation and he had the time of his life. I don't think he wanted to come home.
