I own Creative Horizons and feel is a great place for your children. we have good policy and go above and beyond for children. The care we give children is the best. I have had comments on this site about the money in the business. I invest 75% of the income back to employees so we have less turn over it works well. I have had employees who have been with me for a long time. Over all I care about the children and families I provide care to. My philosophy is when I have an employee who does not have the nurturing for child they no longer work here. This is why on this site I have the disgruntled employees posting. Thanks for considering my child care for your children. Always to come and take a tour.

This is the worst place to ever take your kids! Talk about breaching confidentiality. I have seen and heard Ann complain and talk bad about kids, employees, and parents. I have seen her handle a child when she gets angry at them and screams at them. Who in their right mind would treat a toddler that way? The turn over rate there is so bad due to her nasty behavior with how she treats employees. Just when the children start to love their teachers they leave because she is terrible to work with. Mrs. Walker is amazing with the kids and is just about the only thing good at that school. If ann was gone this place would be amazing. I dont ever see this place going very far and i will never put my kids back with her. All the Operators there are terrible. This place should be shut down.

I have had my kids in Creative horizons for the last 4 years and have never had an issue with them. My daughter will be leaving for kindergarten at the end of August, and it will be a sad day to say goodbye especially after 4 years. Teachers come and teachers go but the philosophy stays the same. Thats why my child is still there. And as for cost, be glad you whiners don't live in California. You would be paying 1200 a kid a month

Terrible daycare!!! Notice the only good reviews are from those that work there!! Of course they will write good review.
Pulled my kids when ann would not stop talking about the finances of the place. I don't want to hear about how poorly the business is doing and how she is remodeling her home!!
The children don't learn much....however they do get a great lesson on drama because there is SO much of it going around that place.
My best day ever was the day I left!! Couldn't be happier that we got outta there

I have three children in Creative Horizons. My two boys are in the preschool room together and the teachers that they have in that room are just amazing! In tune with them and their needs. My younger son had some behavioral issues and the teachers worked with me and communicated with me in correcting it. I had my daughter six months ago and the staff in the infant room are so kind and loving. She absolutely loves everyone! And the fact that this facility is Christian based makes it that much better!
Thank You :)

My child had never been to daycare until she was 18 mos old. She loves Creative Horizons and we think they have a great facility and projects for the cost. The cost is comparable to the other centers in town, but they provide breakfast, lunch, snack, and crafts to boot. They have age-appropriate toys and separate playgrounds for each room. My child loves going everyday and some days doesn't want to go home! Staff is great, too!

I work at Creative Horizons and it's one of the better childcare and educational centers that I've been associated with. I've been working for Ann for six months now and she's always treated me with respect and fairness.I work as a preschool teacher because I WANT to, NOT because I NEED to. I CHOOSE to work outside the home. It's the love of children that fuels my desire to teach and play and see the children grow mentally, physically, emotionally, and become an independent thinker and do-er. Making good decisions and using their words to accomplish what they are after. My oldest son is in the after-school program and loves going to work with me. My youngest is in the four year old room and loves going everyday. Mrs. Walker is his favorite. My fellow teachers are kind and intelligent. We offer breakfast, lunch and snack. Our mealtime are done "Family Style", each child serves him/herself. At age of three my youngest could pour his own drink, clear away his own dishes, zip his own coat etc. His favorite thing about his class is the train tracks and being able to use the glue and tape and paper in art section. We have special guests and go on field trips. We have parties around the holidays. When a child is misbehaving we re-direct and see what we, as teachers, can do different to accommodate and change the behavior. I could go on and on, but if you are still reading this and are interested in adding your name to the Waiting List that is growing every day by intelligent and caring parents who know quality when they see it, call Ann. Come in and see what we do. Take a look at the lesson plans and schedules and playground.See for yourself, don't take anyone else word for it... even mine! At Creative Horizons your child is our life.

I had worked in a Preschool/daycare center for 3 years before I worked at this center when Anne first opened it. I hated it. She was rude to her employees and the children. She expected way too much from the staff and was never willing to help out. My kids hated going there. It was not a comfortable environment to work in and the kids didn't have a safe place to play or learn.

I think this place has potential. They would have to get rid of Anna for it to run the correct way. She is the only person that doesn't seem to care about the children or her employees. Every time my wife or I picked up our child she would be yelling at another child or an employee. The only reason we brought our child there is because my sister worked there. She no longer works there because of Anna. I think there are 4 things Creative Horizons is lacking, 1)Employee's don't ever know if they are going to get paid on time or not. 2) Employees turn-over is relatively high, which is not good for the children. 3) Lack of supervision that I witnessed (children left alone in a class room.) 4) No communication when there were "incidents". Never new why my child had bumps, bites, or bruises on them.

Having worked in childcare for several years I am very picky about how I think a daycare should be ran. While Anne and her staff do an OK job. There are some issues:
1) EXPENSIVE--when we were there did not pro-rate if you KNEW your child was going to be out in advance. And didn't offer discounts.
2) Teacher turn-over is relatively high, which is not good for the children or the business.
3) I had some issues with the lack of supervision that I witnessed (children left alone in a class room for extended periods of time.)
4) No communication with me or my husband when there were "incidents"--I want to know why my child comes home w/ bruises and scratches.
