I love the owner of this place. I sure wish he would have been there with the terrible service we received today. I'm pretty upset right now so I have to watch what I say. But this "lady" at the front counter is very rude. They overcharged me on getting some damn break pads replaced $200.00!!!!!!! Really?!? And the sad thing is I bought my own pieces. Then they tell my husband their card machine is down they wont let him take his car and wouldnt give him a ride to the ATM. He has to walk in 93 degree weather to the nearest ATM about a half mile away. Tell me that aint messed up. And on top of that when I ask her about the price going up (originally it was $100) she get an attitude and I had to hang up on her before I said things I would regret. Please dont go to them unless the owner is there.

On Thursday, April 30th, 2009 I brought my 2004 chevrolet S-10 to Econo Tire and Auto Service as I had lost brake pressure that morning. I was told I needed a new brake line and cv joint. The work order # is 2509 and the total bill came to $356.95 Although the price seemed high, I agreed as I need the repairs done quickly. I was charged one and one half hours to repair the brake line plus one and one half hours to replace the cv joint on the same wheel. I also later learned that the cv joint that Econo charged me $100 for could be purchased for $60 - a 60% mark up. During my discussion with the manager I mentioned it and he retorted "No, we charge 40% mark up!" I picked my truck up Friday, May 1st after the shop had closed and it was immediately very apparent that the steering was dangerously loose. I took my truck back on Monday, May 4th and the technicians confirmed that work was needed on the steering, but they and the manager insisted that it had nothing to do with the work that they had performed. When I questioned the manager as to why this problem arose so suddenly, immediately following the work they did, yet had never before been apparent, he became very angry. He raised his voice and insulted me. I remained calm and continued to try to talk to him about the problem. When he began asking me questions and then yelling at me when I tried to answer them I told him that we were done talking and I left.
