I've read the other reviews for this Vet's office and I am rather confused. Someone said they are out for the most money, that isn't true. I qualified for a low income voucher to have my dog spayed. This was the place I chose (I have never been to the facility before hand) not only did they spay my dog, they gave her pain meds, and did a follow up check up with no additional out of pocket costs for me. A few days after her follow up check up she had a knot on her stomach where the stitches were removed, they checked it out for me and again did not charge me for checking it out. To the person that wrote a review about they hate pit bulls I guess you will be shocked to know my dog is a pit and they were very loving to her. My dog is very opinionated about people if she doesn't like them she will let me know but that wasn't the case here she couldn't wait to be set free to go give kisses. My dog also has a food intolerance that causes her to get sick when she eats meat proteins and they were very easy going and had no problem changing the meds that had beef flavoring to ones that did not. The staff never treated me as if I was low class they went above and beyond what the voucher called for and their other services are cheaper than my dog's regular vet. Which I have no shame in saying is Animed. I am very bias of Animed and stand by that facility, despite the fact my sister works at Banfield. I would still recommend Mitchell Village to anyone, and I've been to my fair share of vets. Not only because they are nice, courteous, they offer services at a great price, but they do a great service for the community to help cut down over population to those that can't otherwise afford to "fix" their pets.

There are many vets to choose from in this area, but few are as compassionate and hard working as the staff at Mitchell Village. The "girls" there are devoted to their work, always have a smile on their face and answers to any questions. You can tell they truly love the animals by the way they greet them, get down on their level, pet them, love on them, even accept their sloppy wet kisses without hesitation. My dog hates, and I mean really hates to have his nails done, and the two vet techs that are always there take their time, and do so well with him...he throws a fit, but they never act like we are a bother. Dr. Hall is great, and although I've only met her once Dr. Godwin was super nice.

Definitely would recommend this place to anyone who has a pet that is a family member. The staff are all wonderful! They truly care about you and your pet and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. My dog wags his tail as soon as we pull up to the office and he can't wait to get inside because he knows he's going to get loved on and get lots of treats. My cat does not always act the nicest at the vets office but the staff here are so patient and calming to her. They don't even scruff her to handle her. Excellent experience every time we go. If you are looking for exceptional care and a compassionate staff then Mitchell Village is the place to take your pets!!!!!!!

We have been going to Mitchell Village for years with both cats and dogs and have always received very professional care from both Dr Hall and the entire staff.
For about a year while I wrestled with the "end of life care" of my beloved dog the staff was particularly compassionate and understanding. I have never had a negative experience there!

Dr. Hall and Dr. Godwin are good vets, I had no problem with them. However, the staff that works there (especially Meghan) are unprofessional and completely rude. I don't appreciate eye-rolling, huffing and puffing, and/or raised argumentative voices when I am genuinely asking why I am being charged the same amount of money for less medication, or when I informed the staff that there should have been 3 medications ready for my dog (and I was right, the lady missed the other pill bottle). Not to mention, the one vet tech (Meghan) nearly injured my dog's eye (which had a corneal ulcer ready to rupture) with his own tags when she hastily shoved his E-collar over his head. Bottomline:
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Over-priced and ignorant staff.

I have taken my 2 cats and dog there for over 10 years and I think they're wonderful! Ann is the receptionist and she's worked for Dr. Hall for over 20 years and truly cares about animals. My pets are like my children and the staff understands that. Whenever I take my dog in, the vet techs play with her, give her treats and just love on her in general. In the past, when I've had a concern, the staff has been patient and accommodating.

I think Dr. Hall and staff are GREAT! I haven't taken a pet there for years. My daughter, home from college with her mini daucshund came home from work and found her leg seriously hurt. It was 5:30pm. I called the vet my boyfriend takes his pup to and they told me they wouldn't see her because they close in 30 minutes...I was appalled. I called Dr. Hall's office, whom again, I haven't visited for years, and they waited, stayed open and took her in. Turns out, she broke her leg in 2 places. They xrayed her, splinted her and got some pain meds on board immediately. Dr. Hall has been consulting with orthopedic surgeons for the past day and a half to help us find the best treatment for her. Dr. Hall and his staff care. There is no doubt that often times, when you have an injured pet, emotions run high, and things can be taken wrong, but this staff cares. I apologized to Ann and staff for making them stay late that day, and they truly didn't mind. They wanted Bella to have care and that is what they gave her.....Dr. Hall once had to euthanize my cat. They allowed me to stay with her as long as I wanted, then when it was time, I think it was just as tough on Dr. Hall as it was for me. He felt my pain, and he had some too. This is a truly caring Doctor.

I was taking both my dog and cat to this office, but the staff was so rude and snotty that I finally had enough and refuse to give them any more of my business. This is an over-priced and uncaring office that doesn't serve pets for their health, they just merely want as much money a concerned owner is willing to pay. I would not recommend this vet to anyone!

I have been taking my 2 cats & 1 dogs there for for the past 3 yrs and have come to realize that they are not as caring as they would like everyone to believe. I have found them to be prejudice against German Shepherd even a staff member told me they really didn't like them alot along with Pit Bulls, Rottweiler's. My Shepherd can feel it and gets very stressed out when he is there. Also I don't think the Dr.'s are very friendly or compassionate. I know this for a fact! Many times while I have had either a cat or my a dog there for treatment that required overnight stays, I would call the next morning to check on my baby, only to be told nothing and that they would get back to me soon. The person who answered the phone knowns nothing and isn't willing to put you on hold, to go find out anything. and makes you feel like your call is an intrusion. finally after worrying all day, right before they close, you will get a call telling you how your pet is doing. Although Dr. Hall maybe accredited he seems to reject all new research and procedures approved by the AVMA. If you love your pet as I do mine like a child, then you will find a caring vet as I have done. There are plently around here in this county.

This animal hospital really cares about the care and well being of the animals. Although they have staffing trouble with their kennel. They are great with the vet side of their work., I really feel like they are treating my dog to take the best care they can. I feel like their cost are normal and they have great doctors who keep up with their new technology.
