Dr. Johnson is the most AMAZING Vet I've ever come across. I stopped her today 25min into our very first appt. and thanked her for the amount of time and love she was showing my dog. I've had some very nice Vets, but Dr. Johnson is beyond a doubt the most caring, patient, and THOUROUGH Vet ever. She didn't lift my dog onto the table, she got down on the floor with my very scared Rescue dog. She continuously talked to my dog praising her and making every effort to make my dog feel more at ease. Unfortunately, she had to deliver some VERY bad news about some bumps that appear to be cancer. When I stopped crying, she assured me she'd do everything to help us get through this. Then, she hugged me. Hugged me..... I really felt like I was talking to a friend. I'm sooooo grateful I chose her to be my new vet.

Dr. Johnson has seen me through some tough times. approx. 2 years ago I took in my eight week 10 ounce chihuahua to Dr. Johnson with kennel cough. With a dog this size and age kennel cough most commonly would have been fatal. She saw my dog everyday for 2 weeks to weigh, hydrate, and listen to her lungs to make sure my puppy would stabilize. Lucy is now a whole 3 lbs and very healthy. On a not so happy note, we had to recently lay another dog down that had two blown back knees and was failing in health. Dr. Johnson was so kind in assuring us we were making the right decision (always an unsure thing) and laid our dog down pain free and with great ""COMPASSION"". I think the world of this Dr. and will always be taking my 4 dogs to her as long as I live in this area. Others do not compare. Sincerely, Dwyatt

I wish Dr. Johnson were my own personal physician. She spent an hour going over all the options available for my dog with Hip Dysplasia. The staff is organized, compassionate and friendly. I think she did a great job on the surgery, and I would recommend her to anyone in the Charlotte area in the need of a Veterinary Surgeon.

The amount of care and experience received makes them the best In my most worrying and agitated times where I needed help for my cat who had dental problems, I have found that Compassionate Care Veterinary Hospital of Charlotte to be a place of comfort-a highly trustworthy institution where I could rely on fantastic doctors and nurses who helped my cat as if she was theirs. Detailed explanations and care we received was the BEST in the world.

I've been taking my dog, Beringer, to a different vet with varied results and not much instruction or options given.\r\n\r\nI took him to Compassionate Care and Dr. Johnson and staff exceeded my expectations. They were able to do the basics to get his file started and to see where he was at and when I came to pick him up they went over all of his vitals with me and gave me several educated options as far as treatment and how I wanted to proceed.\r\n\r\nNeedless to say Beringer has been feeling better than ever and I'm looking into further treatment with Compassionate Care as needed.

I had a stray cat show up on my doorstep a few months ago that needed a good home. After hearing that the old sardis animal clinic had a new staff and new management...now compassionate care vet hospital of charlotte, I decided to give them a shot. I was so impressed with the quality of service Dr. Ryan provided. You can really tell the difference when someone's just doing their job/going through the motions vs. truly passionate about the work they do. Dr. Ryan thoroughly answered every question I asked and really took time to help me understand how to best take care of my new cat. It kinda felt like talking with an old friend....Another thing I really liked about this hospital is they don't nickel and dime you for EVERY tiny detail! The prices were fair and reasonable and there were even certain vaccines I thought I needed that they said I could wait on. Now THAT is good business practice. Check these guys out, you won't be disappointed.
