Just wanted to express my feelings about L&Y.. These people care nothing about the value of the renters... Ive been calling for a week straight about my ac going on.> Let me say that this has been one of the worst summers ever for me.. and for them to keep pushing me to the side and lying to me. I might be young but i wasnt born yesterday. So after almost a week they are still lying to me telling me that they cant reach the ac company.. I see its time to go the legal route and let them take care of this.. How can u not fix my ac when the temp at its lowest is 84.. DONT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE

I have only been at Stewarts Creek Complex for 7 months and I already dread coming home. Little and Young Realtors is a huge disgrace! I will NEVER rent from these realtors again. If I could go back and NOT sign my lease, I would in a heartbeat. I have never met such ruthless, inconsiderate, irresponsible, and disrespectful property manager's in my entire life! I also have never met people who have such disregard for the Armed Forces and their families! They will be the first to point the blame at the renter and they never take responsibility for anything that is THEIR fault. If you ever have something wrong with your apartment, they will take WEEKS to get back in touch with you and once they do get back in touch with you, you're stuck with a massive bill from whatever was needing to be fixed and they REFUSE to comply whatsoever. (I was left with an $800.00 water bill due to a problem with my toilet. PWC respectfully lowered my bill by 30% and I was left with a $500.00 bill and mind you, my water bill has never been more than $43.00. The manager's of Little and Young REFUSED to comply with fixing my water bill and I was told it was MY fault. I find it to be absolutely unfair and I stand by my actions 100%. My intelligence was also belittled by me not knowing you could turn off the water to the toilet. When I spoke face-to-face with one of the manager's about this issue, all she did was make fun of me. She didn't even have enough respect to talk to me in her office! Instead, she yelled at me in front of PAYING RENTERS.) Little and Young's manager's cannot do their jobs and once you call them on the carpet for it, they blame you and everything turns into YOUR fault. I have never been spoken to so terribly before. Not only was my intelligence belittled, I was called a liar and told I was stupid. It does not matter how old you are when you're renting from these realtors because they will always have the audacity to speak to you as if you're a 5 year old. The only reason I am in this godforsaken apartment still is because my husband is an active duty soldier here at Ft. Bragg. After speaking with one of the manager's, I will never give them respect again because respect is not deserved within this realtor because they DO NOT KNOW WHAT RESPECT MEANS.

- - Also, people leave trash everywhere! The dumpsters are ALWAYS overflowing and it's absolutely disgusting. People who have dogs never are respectful and clean up the dog poop! They leave it EVERYWHERE. You are also told that you cannot have pets weighing more than 25lbs and I have seen a handful of pitbulls, rots, and other dogs CLEARLY WEIGHING MORE THAN 50LBS. Infact, the people above me own a pitbull. I could careless about the type of dogs being here, I care about the UNSANITARY ACTIONS WITH FECES ALL OVER THE PLACE. It's more than pathetic that I have called multiple times complaining and they will sit there on their ass calling you a liar because they can't stand up for their faults! They still have yet to take care of my complaint. I can't even walk outside without almost stepping in dog poop. Plus, the smell is sometimes horrific!

All Little and Young want is money and I'll be damned if they get another red cent out of me! I will write all the reviews I can about this realtor because it's the truth and I don't want people getting screwed like my husband and I have! I cannot say it enough, the deception within this realtor is baffling! THINK TWICE BEFORE SIGNING A LEASE WITH LITTLE AND YOUNG.

i rented a house from little and young and they are horrible realtors. they make promises they dont keep when it come to fixing things that was wrong with the house. the water bill was 600 and more all the time and they wouldnt help pay it or nothing. the light bill was that amount all the time also. even the gas bill was high. remind you, im a soldier with 2 kids and we were never home that much. why are the utilities that high? that house had major problems. electrical was the main problem. one sunday morning we all woke up and was downstairs watching tv and a total stranger was beating and ringing my doorbell telling me the house was on fire. i walked outside and come to findout the whole house on the side was on fire. it looked like a movie. didnt smell any smoke or nothing. we all could of died. they wont give my deposit back $850, and i moved out. they suck to the max.

i am a tenant here in the Stewarts Creek complex. I have been renting here now for a year. I would like to stay here longer but i feel at this point I need to get out now because I fear deceptive practices are going on I am afraid if something else breaks that i don't have any control over, i will be blamed again, accused and charged. Recently, a certain piece broke inside the toilet located in my room early morning, i heard it running and running so I put a towel under the broken piece to keep it from running any further. A section of my room was flooded. I followed procedures and called the emergency number and left my number and information of what was going on. I also took action while waiting for someone to show up. I rented a Rug Doctor machine from food lion and proceded to suck the water up for 2 hours that morning along with a friend. I went to work at 12pm and was checking my phone , but no one called me all day, so I called my son about 1pm to see if anyone showed up, my son informed me no one had come by to check anything. No maintenance personnel showed up until late afternoon because the tenant below called because that tenant had water coming through his ceiling. I came home that same night after work and saw a blower in my room, drying the padding under the rug.
I thought it was over until i received a letter from the maintenance department full of untruths about the whole day of the incident, claiming i was negligent and that i was responsible for the whole bill, which totaled several hundreds dollars and i should call to make payment arrangements as if I wasn't going to dispute anything

I dont know much about L &Ycompany, but they recently took over my apartment complex from other company on 9/30/2001. If you is late with your rent they start eviction proceeding before you are 30 days late. they dont even return your phone calls after you leave a detail message for their relators.you receive a summons for court for being 25 days late. I would like to know how can they do this when you have a lease with the old rental agency and they have not manage complex for 30 day.

Little and Young are the most dishonest set of people I have ever met. They rented me a town house in the Winding Creek subdivision that is known to flood. The day I was moving into the townhouse a neighbor came by and told me that my unit floods. When I called Little and Young and I asked them about the flooding issues they told me that the problem no longer happens. Not even a month after living in the unit my car and the apartment was almost flooded out. When I contacted the management company they told me I was notified of the flooding before moving in, which was a bold faced lie. Who would ever move into a unit that is known to flood?

Little & Young are TERRIBLE PROPERTY MANAGERS. I'd like to know what William Little does with all the (Association Dues) money he keeps collecting because it sure isn't being squandered on the owners properties or the common areas like it is supposed to be. (Well, maybe the Townhomes owned by the "Unicorn LLC group"?) I live in Winding Creek. These Townhomes were built in 1972. Starts bringing to mind "Lead Based Paint" and "Asbestos" just to name a few, but AnyWho: I have been on Little and Young for almost 2 months now about the ROTTING WOOD around my back patio and sliding glass doors, and also on the storage building that is used to hold up the CABLE BOX and the TELEPHONE BOX. Well, the CABLE BOX has been hanging on by wires, and the TELEPHONE BOX has about fallen into the Storage Building. All I kept getting on the phone was, "I placed the work order in." I finally got the City Inspector to come out and check all of this out and he made a note of Everything and also took pictures, and so did I: My next course of action is the Realestate Commission in Raleigh.
BOTTOM LINE:
YOU TAKE ASSOCIATION DUES
THEN YOU FIX THE COMMON AREAS THAT ARE LISTED IN THE BI-LAWS. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
AND BY THE WAY: I looked up that "Kim V." person that gave this outfit a POSITIVE REVIEW, AND SHE DOES "POSITIVIE REVIEWS" ONLINE FOR "CREDITS"

I own a rental property in Stewart's Creek and the whole building is falling apart. Boards on the walkway are loose with nails exposed; there is trash laying around EVERYWHERE. Only the association members' buildings get treated with care. I also went to an association meeting and the attitude was awful. Also, the 'No Parking' signs in the parking lots are barely noticeable ( less than a foot wide). They are tiny and only painted on the ground. And that previous positive post on here was probably written by someone at Little & Young.

This is probably the worst property managment I have encountered. Its hard to get something fixed properly, even when it is as important as replacing the posts outside that support the upstairs balcony. The grounds maintainance is done very poorly. I find myself picking up trash outside and bringing it to the dumpster. Most of the people I have spoke to that work there are rude and don't seem to show any real concern for the renters. I have had so many problems in the year and a half I have lived here. I never would have moved here had I known a business like that was running this place. I honestly can not wait until I move.

We bought a lovely condo in Barton's Landing 18 months ago...they handled rental. Since then has only been rented for 5 months. Told us condo was in A1 condition but then had to have whole heater a/c replaced -$4500! After tenant moved out told it was relet...no it wasn't! Just relet, they now tell us that they have had it painted again, our cost...why? If tenant damaged, repaint should have come out of bond. In process of appointing new agent, but to get rid of L & Y it will take 60 days!!

I wished I had never signed a lease with this company. I cant get anything fixed at my condo. The condo is new, but there is some unfinished work. I have notifyed little and young five days ago about the light falling and hanging from the ceiling. No response.
