If you don't have a long time to wait on your dresses to come back dont bother going. Hardly anything on the racks were over a size 6. I and my wedding party left very disappointed!!!!

I was excited to go looking for wedding dresses with my sister and my mom this past weekend. I thought BridalMart would be a great place to start looking since they seemed to have a large selection. My 3 week old niece was with us because my sister is breastfeeding and we were going to be out and about for a while. As soon as we walked in the door the person that greeted us was not that pleasant. And then she told us that my 3 WEEK OLD niece would have to stay up front at the door because they don't allow children past the entrance. I looked at the lady and said "Are you serious? She's 3 weeks old and in a carrier" The lady then told me it was policy that kids aren't allowed on the floor. Again I looked at her and said "Really? because if you can see, she is a tiny baby that won't touch the dresses and won't even be put down on the ground" I then asked to speak with a manager. The manager was just as rude. I was not about to stay there to try on dresses if it meant that my sister or mom had to sit at the front entrance with my niece. I asked for there corporate information and told them they needed to re-examine their policies and their customer service.
PLEASE don't waste your time going there! We went to Dawn's in Lexington right after leaving Bridal Mart and had the best experience and had our own room to try on as many dresses as we wanted with a personal helper.

DO NOT USE eBRIDALSUPERSTORE! They are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. We ordered 6 bridesmaids dresses, all knee length, one of the six arrived at eBridal Superstore (5 weeks before our event) as floor length, instead of calling to ask what we would prefer they do, they (eBridal Superstore) held all the dresses, returned the long dress to the designer to be re-done. The dress arrived back at their store 7 days before our event. We paid $40 extra per dress to have them shipped express delivery, (4th of July weekend) they shipped the dresses UPS ground, and the scheduled delivery date was the day before the wedding by 7pm. Several calls to eBridal Superstore re: changing shipping, returned no results, I was told they (eBridal Superstore) would not pay (UPS) any additional for shipping to fix the error, and UPS wouldn't let me pay (USP) any additional to upgrade shipping because the billing account was through eBridal Superstore/Bridal Boutique. Additionally, UPS wouldn't let me alter any shipping changes unless authorized from eBridal. In a desperate attempt to get the dresses earlier I asked the "manager" to call UPS and have the dresses/package held for pick up at the final destination hub so we could pick up in the morning vs the package placed on delivery truck to be delivered whenever. The "manager" claimed she called, but she had no UPS pick up address for us, and when I called UPS they had no record of her calling, and subsequently put the package on the truck for delivery. This company is unprofessional, rude, and want to argue vs. finding any sort of solution. The stress level wasn't worth the initial savings. Additionally, with the express shipping costs we ended up paying $25 more per dress than they were at the boutique where we bought the wedding dress. I have read other reviews, seems this is a common practice of theirs, calling to tell the bride the dress won't arrive on time unless an additional amount is paid. This additional amount seems to range from $35 - $45. BEWARE, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

I went to the fitting room to try on my ??BRAND NEW? wedding dress. I noticed that there was a stain on the front of the dress and the beading was falling off. It looked like it had been tried on multiple times. The store owner was called, I asked was this the sample I tried on when I was here before because my dress was not suppose to be ready until March and it was ready two weeks after I placed the order- this was in January. The store owner reassured me that it was a new dress and that it would be sent to back to the company to be fixed. I left sad and disappointed. So the next time, I called before I drove an hour to pick up my dress. The staff member on the phone reassured me that the dress had been cleaned and she would go check the dress and call me back in five minutes. After an hour, I hadn??t received that phone call, I called back. I was reassured again that the dress had been fixed and it was ready to be picked up. I was suppose to receive $150 worth of accessories because I had purchase an Allure dress that was over $1,000 dollars. My veil was $125 and since the head piece was at store and didn??t have to be ordered, the bridal consultant told me I could pick it up at the same time I pick up my dress and veil. The cashier said she had to look in the computer, and of course it was not in the computer. She calls the manager, who to my surprise comes over with an attitude. She says in a condescending tone, ??Well check the paper work, then!? I stand there at the front of the store for about 30 minutes until the cashier returns with my paperwork. She??s standing right in front of me talking to the manager, Julie, about me like I??m not even there! The manager says, ??Well, the $150 is for a veil and shoes, not a veil and head piece, she can??t get the difference, she can??t get the money!? She looks at the computer, ??where did she come from? DURHAM?!? Then I said, ??I don??t want the money, I want the head piece I picked out, and I was told if the accessory total went over $150, I could just pay the difference.? I was still pretty calm at this point. Then the manager looked at the cashier, not me and says again, ??The $150 is for a veil and shoes or a veil and a purse, we usually don??t offer any accessories!? Then I say, ??Call my consultant, she specifically said $150 worth of accessories, I picked out a veil and she brought me over to the head pieces and tiaras to look at them and helped me pick one out!? And of course- my consult was out sick that day. I started to cry because the manager kept talking about me as I stood there. Finally I say, ??Just get my dress and veil- I want to leave!? The cashier runs to the back to get my dress and veil. I look at the veil and I walk over and look at my dress. The gray stain was gone from the front of my dress and the beading looked repaired. I look at the bottom of my dress and there is DIRT on my dress and in the bottom of the bag!!!! I ask the cashier, ??What is this?? She brushes it off and quickly removes the dress from the back and hangs it up. I??m very disappointed at this point, I examine my dress and it looks like someone wore it! The dress was dirty on the bottom- like some walked around in it outside. I??m really crying now, and the manager comes over, I??m thinking she??s coming to ask me what??s wrong and the first thing she says to me, in an arrogant and callous tone is, ??Where is this stain?!? The dress is a ball gown with a train- I hurry to try and show the area, while I??m going through the layers, she says, ??I don??t see anything, I don??t see anything!?. Then I get to the area where my dress has dirt stains and I say, ??Look right here.? And this manager says to me, ??I don??t see anything!? I bring it closer to her face and say, ??See, it??s a white dress, how can you NOT see this?? and she says, ??First of all, the dress is not WHITE, it??s Ivory, and yes I see it, but it??s nothing!? I??m so hurt by this time; I don??t even know what to say. The store owner comes over at this point, I show her the area. Then manager then lies and says, ??She was on the phone (looking at me) the whole time, I tried to tell her that she get the head piece!? ??she had never said this to me! I had been standing at the front of this store for over an hour, I checked my phone after I left, I was on the phone a total of 7 minutes and 26 seconds?.really I was on the phone the WHOLE time?

My daughter and I traveled for 3 hours to the Bridal Mart with great intentions of buying a wedding dress that day. Big Mistake! We get there, shop around for about 20 minutes on the floor. I have my grandchild with me, she is 6yrs old, very well behaved. A sale person came up to me, stated that we could only take 3 dresses back, (which was fine) and I was not allowed to stand there on the floor and hold the dresses, and my grandchild would have to go up front to stand. I did not appreciate that, due to I was there with my daughter to enjoy this experience with her, and the sales person could see I had no one to leave the child with at the front, I did not come there to stand at the front door! I then went to the dressing room to let my daughter know why I was not there with her, I was then ask again to go up front, due to children could not be in the dressing area, which I did understand why once I was back there, there was no curtains, every bride was just standing out in the open, no Privacy at all! I did return back up front, the employee again, Ms. Wanda, came by me, stated that she was correct that children needed to stand up front, supposedly she had asked her manager. My daughter by this time had come out with another employee to view the dress in front of a big mirror, I then went over to my daughter again on the floor, I let her and the employee know that I was very upset, and unable to be on the floor to enjoy viewing the dresses that she tried on, or enjoy a wonderful experience with her, and I would not be purchasing anything from this store, because this Bridal Mart had taken the pleasurer out of something that a daugher and her mom could have had a wonderful experience doing. This woman, Ms. Wanda was rude, very rude, and she needs to know that she lost this company a sale that day. We will never go back to this place of business again, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know!

We have been in Bridal Mart three times in the last two weeks. First time was a weekday after lunch. My daughter looked @ gowns, I Picked up and carried a flower girl dress around was planning to purchase that day. We were there an hour no one greeted us or ask if we needed help. We left employees gladly told us to have a good day on the way out the door. Second day was midweek around 3. There were three ladies behind front counter. Once again was not greeted, went and picked same flower girl dress up to purchase, looked at gowns. None of employees offered to help just stood behind counter. Finally I put dress back once again, tthought I have not been to back of store so I went to back on the way out where I ran into a friendly employee who I asked about the tags/prices on dresse, and about a cake topper. Then left store. Third time was on Monday afternoon around 4, once again not greeted. Went to flower girl dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and wedding gowns. My daughter was even carrying around the dress she wanted to purchase (workers all around us too busy straighting racks) to ask if she needed help. Dress very heavy after she was tired of carrying it I carried it (still in with employees in same aisles) no one helped so we took the dress into the dressing room. By time the dress was being put over my daughters head an employee came in and told us store was closing!! I told her everything that had happened and I wanted to know who their district manger was. Also reminded her she was the only person who spoke to me the second time we were there. She told me store manager was there and I could speak to her if I would like, she left us in dressing room told manager, came back told me when we leave the manager is going to have talk with employees. I did not complain to manager, I feel she should have came to us before we left store. The same dress has been ordered for my daughter from a bridal shop in Clemmons, NC. Ordered it in Bridal Marts parking lot over the phone using Bridal Marts style# and size of dress she tried on.

My daughter has had a terrible experience with the sales staff @ the Bridal Mart in Burlington. Her bridal party ordered their dresses from there, and she was told that she would be notified when they arrived. A month after the promised arrival date, my daughter called to get a status on the missing dresses (as she had not heard anything) and was told that the dresses had been sitting in the store for a month.

My daughter lives out of town and made a special trip to the store to pick up two of the dresses that had been fully paid for (one of the girls is currently in Europe & the other is over 3 hours away). When she asked to pick up the dresses, she was then told that she could not get any of the dresses until ALL of the dresses in the party had been paid for. She was very upset as the two dresses that were paid for require alterations. This has really caused the bride a lot of unnecessary stress due to the incompetent actions taken by the staff of Bridal Mart.
A: Bridal Mart did not notify anyone when the dresses arrived, my daughter had to initiate the call.
B: Bridal Mart NEVER indicated that they were going to "hold the dresses hostage" until they got their money.
C: Bridal Mart does not value customer service in any way, shape, or fashion.
I cannot believe that Bridal Mart would stoop to holding items that were FULLY paid for as per the agreement. Then, when time is short, they would hold these items hostage (that require alterations) due to previously undisclosed requirements / policies.

The few dollars that you may save is not worth the headache and aggrevation in dealing with Bridal Mart. Do not deal with Bridal Mart as this only rewards this type of behavior!

I do not recommend this store to anyone. They measured my daughter on March 17th, ordered a size 10 based on their measurement. We picked the dress up on June 17th and tried it own. It was six inches too small in the waist and alleged that my daughter had gained six inches in her waist in three months, that they do not make these kind of mistakes. Their solution was to express a size 18 from the design and alter it to fit her. They could not give me any indication of how much that would cost and never offered to assume some of the cost. With her wedding coming up in August and being on vacation in July, we made the decision to go to David's Bridal and buy a dress off the rack that she had tried on and liked in March (the same size she wore in March.) In speaking with this company and filing a complaint, their assertion is still that they did not make a mistake and that I did not allow them to fix the problem. I was not paying another $300 to 400 dollars for alterations on a dress that should have been a closer fit based on based on their measurement.

My experience at Bridal Mart was absolutely horrible...very rude workers...children were not allowed to remain with parents to pick out wedding dresses...they had to wait in the front of the store..our child could not go in the back to try on her dress she had to go toward the area where the men tried on their tux's...I would not recommend this place to anyone who is planning their wedding...we left and will NEVER be back...we will tell other people of our experience.

When I went bridal mart, i had a pretty good experience. There was a wide selection an variety of dresses and the prices on most of them were pretty good. Word of caution, if you're looking for the private attention and experience of a boutique, this place is not for you. Nonetheless, the lack of personal attention was not my concern. My greatest concern is that I purchased my dress on July 7th. I was told it would arrive on October 5th and that someone would call me. I called on Oct. 9th and was told my dress had no arrived. No big deal for it to be 4 days late. The lady said she would call the next Monday. The next Wednesday after receiving no call. I called back again, the lady put me on hold "went in the back" to look for my dress told me it wasn't there and said she would call be the next Monday. At this point I'm slightly perturbed. Today is October 28th, 23 days after my gown should have arrived. I called there today and was told that the dress shipped on this past Monday and will arrive next Monday. I explained to the associate what had occurred and that everyone seemed very apathetic about my dress being a month late. She "assured" me that people were very concerned and that their dress order person called the gown company and the company was very apologetic. Despite their "concern" no one has called me in almost a month and had I not called them I doubt I would have received any updates from them as of yet. My wedding isn't until next June so it is honestly not a big deal for my dress to be late, but if you give someone a deadline, you should keep it and if something happens where you can't keep it, you should definitely keep in contact with that person. So, if your wedding is 5 months away or less, I don't recommend buying a dress from them unless you're going to get it right off the rack and take it home with you then and there. I pointed out to the lady that my dress will likely need alterations which can also take 2-3 months and her reply was that they do alt. Why would I want the same people who were apathetic about my dress being a month late to alter it too?

Cons: Been waiting 4 months for my dress

I would recommend Bridal Mart to anyone. Ms. Pam was absolutely wonderful! She knew exactly what I was looking for, and I only tried on 5 dresses before I found the one! I can't believe anyone would have anything bad to say about Bridal Mart. The staff are courteous and friendly and the dress selection is better than any boutique I have found! The only downside is the dressing room, but wear boy shorts and a bra and you'll be fine!

We bought our daughter's wedding dress there. We were very pleased with the dress, although as the other reviewers said, once you order the dress, forget customer service. Nothing else was in stock, although we were told it was. So, we made do with a different slip, and ordered the veil, and bought the shoes elsewhere. Instead of two or three trips (3 hours each way), we had to make five or six because of the fitting for bustling and picking up orders. They would not hold the dress for one week until we would be driving that way on a trip to pick up our daughter from college, so we had to make yet another trip just to get the dress, then drive through again for the fitting, and back again to pick it up after the bustling. That was CASH only. Bottom line now is that the dress was "perfect" and our daughter was beautiful in it. I don't think we saved any money though with all the added costs.

I hope this review will save at least one bride from having their dream dress ruined!! Saving some money is really not worth it in the end as memories can never be recreated! The short version - I drove 2 hours to buy my dress from this store. Instead of 14-16 weeks as promised it took over 18 after I had to call multiple times! Then it came in and it was wrong!! I paid extra for it to be measured to fit me and it arrived over 2 inches too long!! After much back and forth and 6 weeks from my wedding they finally admitted they measured me wrong and have done absolutely nothing about it only telling me too bad! They then tried to fix the mistake by bringing the dress up higher and then took in too much around the waist so the bust was gapping from my chest and sat up near my chin!! Then they cut the bottom lace to try to shorten it and resewed it up so that it fell out once I got it home. They have been absolutely terrible to deal with and ruined my one day. It is the worst feeling to feel uncomfortable in an ill fitting dress. I know others may have nice things to say about them... as did I when I went there, but the way this business conducts themselves by pushing you away is obvious they don't care about their customers. Like I said... saving money is NOT worth the risk!!

I am hoping this review will keep at least one bride from making the same mistake I did by buying my dream dress from Bridal Mart in Burlington, NC. Yes, I agree... I thought Bridal Mart was awesome, but saving some money is not worth having your wedding dress ruined by a bunch of amateurs claiming to be professionals! I bought a premier collection and paid extra for them to spend 40 minutes measuring me so the dress would arrive fitted. I was told 14-16 weeks when ordered in Oct 08. After 16 weeks I kept calling them and calling them and they didn't know why the dress wasn't ready. It finally came in after 18 weeks and it was over 2 inches too long!! With a lot of back and forth they finally admitted they measured me wrong, but told me it was too late and there was nothing I could do. Due to their lack of response with 6 weeks before my May wedding (3 month after the dress originally came in - that long of arguing!!) I missed out on ordering any of my accessories because they had my paid in full dress!! They then tried to correct their mistakes by creating more problems by taking it in too much and pulling it up too high. They won't return calls, they just don't care! They even cut the bottom lace of my wedding gown to try to shorten it and left the cuts hanging out at the end of my train... and then denied it was from them!! Having your dream dress ruined is not worth saving a few bucks... even if it was hundreds!! Not only do we have to go to court, but I can NEVER get my wedding memories replaced. They not only took my money, but they stole the one thing every bride should have on their wedding day... to feel beautiful!

I wish I could share pictures to prove to you how terribly they ruined my dress! You would be shocked that they would even try to argue... which may be why they avoid calling people back!

had a major issue with the dress I got at David's Bridal, so I needed a dress PRONTO! My wedding is in August. It's July. I decided to check out bridal mart. The problem I've been having is that I'm a Plus Sized Gal and no one seems to carry plus sized dresses...at least not the super plus sizes like 28 and 30. I guess dress designers think we are too fat to get married? Not sure. Anyway, the staff at Bridal Mart, particularly Ms. Pam, were very helpful! I found a BUNCH of dresses in my size and tried on 6 of them and finally decided on the first one I tried on. It was an Alfred Angelo and $140 cheaper at Bridal Mart than I had found online. I recommend going! The dressing room does leave you vulnerable, so make sure you are prepared to have flashbacks of changing for gym class in high school in front of all of the hot young girls with perky chests.

Pros: SOOO Many Dresses! Plus Sizes! Buy the same day!

Cons: open dressing room, reminded me of gym class in high school

Don't do it! The customer service is horrible! It's not worth the hassle to save a few extra bucks. Check with your local bridal shop, most will meet prices. If you must go to Bridal Mart, get anything you are told in writing. Trust me, the rules will change when you want to place an order. You can ask 5 different sales staff the same question and you will get 5 different answers. If you leave a message for the manager to call you, don't expect your phone to ring. My mom left a message for the manager to call her. I left two messages. I haven't talked to her yet. When my bridesmaid ordered their dresses the orders were all messed up. It took the lady one and half hours to order 5 dresses and the orders were not correct. Planning a wedding is stressful enough. Bridal Mart will only add to your stress! I would suggest you shop somewhere else.

I went to Bridal Mart on this past weekend and I highly recommend going to this place!!! It's rows and rows of bridal gowns and the prices are cheaper. The dressing room is in the back..there are no doors so you are changing in front of the other ladies. There are no men back there and no cameras are allowed in the dressing room. The mirrors are on the outside of the dressing room and you can take all the pictures you want out there. Given the size of the dressing rooms, this does make some sense to not have to fight with dressing room doors! If you are uncomfortable, wear some biker shorts, but it is not bad. Many of the helpers are young. However, you do have some more experienced ladies that can assist you and Ms Wanda is wonderful!! Plan to spend a few hours because there are a lot of dresses. If you can deal with David's, you can go to Bridal Mart. If you prefer to try on dressing at an extremely elegant place and be catered to..this is not for you. If you are trying to save money given the economy and pick your dress in a day, you'll want to check out Bridal Mart.

I went to Bridal Mart because they competed with another salon's price for my dress. I waited 17 weeks for my dress to come in. They kept pushing back the delivery date. I live in FL and bought a ticket to fly up for the 3rd and final estimated date which happened to be 4 weeks before my wedding! I called 2 days before and they said it was probably not going to come in until 2 days before my wedding!!!!! When we told them it was unacceptable they would not give us our money back and would not call us back. My Dad finally got the deposit back and I had 2 days to find a dress. I went to Carolina Bridal in Smithfield and they had a WONDERFUL selection and let me buy the sample dress.... SO even though you think you are getting a deal at Bridal Mart your dress may never show up! Pay the extra and buy it at a nice place!

This place is wonderful....the service i recieved from Brenda was great...I don't understand why anyone would say anything bad about this place. You have to understand that its not one of those prissy upscale boutiques....thus why the prices are so reasonable. If these women want to be smothered, then they should go to one of those boutique shops & pay for that kind of unneccessary attention. There's hundreds, maybe even thousands of dresses to pick from. I bought two dresses that i fell in love with, one straight off the rack. The other, they had to order. They said it was in stock, and it should arrive at their location in a week....and i recieved at my house the next day....a lot sooner that i had expected. I think what some people who complained about it taking too long to get to them should realize is that it wasn't it stock, and it had to be made....therefore the time frame really can't be promised. The dressing room is just one big gigantic room, but again....these are some really big wedding dresses, a little cramped fitting room would not be very accomodating. And like i said, if you have very high expectations about little details like that....then go somewhere that marks up dresses by more than 50% and you will get it....even though i did go into a boutique bridal shop near my house....and their prices were sky high and their service was very rude....so sometimes, you don't always get everything you expect.

I went to the Bridal Mart during the week and it was great. If you go there on the weekends, you will not get helped and it is so many people there. The service was great and helpful. The lady who helped me gave me her honest opinion on the dress. They won't let you take but 3 dresses back at a time. The only complaint I would have is the dressing room. The first day I went, there was a lady standing there in a thong; nobody wants to see that! But if you are comfortable being undressed infront of people this won't bother you. Once you get in there and you see nobody is really looking at you and don't care that you are undressed, it gets a little more comfortable. So I would recommend this store to anyone if you want a great deal and nice customer service.

I purchased a designer dress from Bridal Mart and was quite disappointed in the level of customer service. I'd taken several trips to the store and only one associate was courteous and helpful. Every other associate was rude and not willing to help. They also denied me the opportunity to speak with management so that I could voice my complaint. I paid an additional fee to have my dress rushed and it was still shipped in the normal shipping time.I was not refunded the additional money. I was told my dress would arrive in 8-10 weeks. It actually arrived in 14 weeks (normal shipping time is 12-16 weeks). I was also not notified when my dress arrived. I called and found out my dress had be sitting in a box for the past few days. I was also told that accessories (veils and tiaras) were kept in stock. When I tried to purchase them I was then told it would take 6 weeks. Had I not been mis-informed, I would have purchased them when I initially saw them. There was no incentive for me purchase my dress from the store. Most bridal stores and boutiques in my area match prices. I didn't save any money by going to bridal mart. Also, unlike most bridal salons, they do not offer a complimentary steaming. I'm terribly sorry I waisted my time at Bridal Mart. I would not recommend this to any one who has high expectations for customer service.

I have just found my dream dress at Bridal Mart for an excellent price! There is plenty of choices of styles in dresses from the bridal gowns to the bridal party. The room to try the dresses on is one open room with little privacy and I believe for most people that you are so concerned with your own special day that you could care less about the people around you. Also you are wearing a slip that gives you coverage along with your bra if you choose to wear one. From a person who does like her privacy and the place being very full, it was a great shopping experience. I do want to recommend Wanda at the Bridal Mart. She has an eye for what fits each person and what works with your own body shape. If you are to visit, I would recommend going closer to when they open or later in the day.

My fiance and I stopped there on our way back to N.Y. What a disappointment! Sure, lots of dresses but mostly dirty and older styles. They herd you into a huge fitting room and expect you to get naked in front of everyone else.Talk about a cattle call ! Then someone told me not to even buy a dress there, because you can go to their web site, ebridalsuperstore and buy it for even CHEEPER than they sell it for. Believe me, its not worth saving a couple of dollars for what they put you through!

I agree with all of the above. Weekends are a disaster to shop there. Lots of dresses, but most are older styles and dirty. However, I was told by a nice person I met there. Once you DO find a dress you like, you can buy it for MUCH LESS from their web site ebridalsuperstore

Pros: lots of dresses to try on

Cons: one large fitting room, not much service

The selection to choose from was great here. I personally was looking for a pick up skirt style, and they diddnt have hardly any of those, so I was very very dissapointed. But they did have tons of gowns in other styles, so I have to give them that. The bad thing was that the dressing room is just one huge room with "mini walls" that stand out about a foot from the wall, all the way down the room every 5 feet. You are told to take off your clothes and put them in your little "stall" and then you get your dresses on. So you are clothesless around 30 other brides. I felt like an animal or something.

Pros: tons of dresses, lots of mirrors on the sales floor, friendly staff

Cons: NO privacy at all, dresses were very dirty

The selection at Bridal Mart is to die for. You can try on dresses in your size, no matter what that is, and even though privacy is a little bit lacking, I'd change clothes in a parking lot for the price. My dress came in in a week, was less than half the cost of the same dress at a different store and is flawless. You can't beat that with a stick.
The salespeople aren't pushy, but they are helpful if you ask them. I was helped by several wonderful ladies when I went and never felt like they were vying for commission.

Pros: large sizes, low prices, huge selection, helpful salespeople

My fiancee and I went there and she said the dressing room was just one big open area with no mirror and pushy sales people wanting you to go look in the big mirror outside with no concern for what she wanted. The fact that she changed in front of several other folks was in my opinion inappropriate in this day and age. They were also rude to me and my kids. We were just standing and watching my fiancee looking at dresses with my 2 girls helping (they're 9 and 12) and I was standing with my 8 yr old son. All were quiet and being very good. We were told they could not be by the gowns. We were very insulted and we'd rather pay 100 bucks more on a dress somewhere else and be treated right than deal with the folks at bridal mart. What a waste of a trip from Charlotte.

PROS: Near KB Toys Outlet Center
CONS: Rude and Pushy Staff, Lack of Privacy, Just horrible

Although they have a huge selection, when it came time to try on a dress I was pointed toward a hallway in which there were no dressing rooms--only half-naked women being ushered around like cattle. There were no mirrors in the dressing room, and because I was alone I was not able to tie the corset back to one of the dresses I tried on. When I wanted to try on another dress, I was asked if I was going to buy the one I had on (to which I responded that I wasn't sure yet) and that I'd have to give it back to them to be put out on the floor "in case someone else wanted to try it on." Overall, the store was incredibly unfriendly and not helpful at all. It may have bargains, but that's all it has.

I bought my wedding dress from Bridal Mart. I got a name brand dress for under $200. They have a huge selection of gowns and bridesmaid dresses in lots of sizes and colors. They can order different sizes and lengths also. The ladies who assist you in trying on the gowns are also great to work with. There's lots of parking and it is located in an outlet park, so there's lots of other shopping too!

This store has hundreds if not thousands of gowns for both brides and their wedding party. They also offer tuxedo rentals, alterations, and many wedding accessories. They have any type of dress you could be looking for and in a wide variety of sizes. They do not cary couture brands but do carry many of the popular designers. Their prices are the lowest in the area. I found the salespeople very helpful. The only cons are that the dressing rooms are open so you have to change in front of other brides. Their alterations people are also bad, so buy the dress there buy have it altered elsewhere.

PROS: selection, price
CONS: bad alterations, open dressing rooms

While they have a HUGE selection of gowns, they are lacking in personal attention (something you'd get in a smaller type bridal shop). The selection for plus size dresses was bigger than most bridal shops, but still not very big. I did not end up getting my dress here, but I would have if I had not found a better deal on ebay.

I found a perfect dress there for a wonderful price. The service was great, considering the place was absolutely packed. It would likely be a good idea to go on a weekday, if possible. The dressing rooms are not at all private, so be aware!

I love Bridal Mart. They carry a gigantic selection and are able to order almost any dress associated with the designers they carry at prices way cheaper than other bridal stores. You don't get the most attention there, but that is the tradeoff for the huge selection. It gets busy and the staff has a lot to deal with. The dressing room is an open dressing room. They carry almost every gown available in the bridesmaids lines. If they carry the designer and you see it in the brochure, they are going to have it in stock!! I saved my bridesmaids almost $80 each by ordering here.

I bought my wedding dress at Bridal Mart, and if youre saving money but want something lovely, this is a great place. Dont expect royal treatment. Theres a communal dressing room without any cover and then just a huge mirror outside it
