Come to the Dolphin Den restaurant for the very best seafood you have ever eaten. The owner is tenth generation islander, whose family was given a grant for a large tract of land in 1740, by the King of England, The owner chef, is 35 years in the restaurant business. Our food is fresh and prepared on site each day. We specialize in crabcakes, full of crab, like you would make at home, coconut shrimp, seafood au gratin,the best cuts of Angus beef, homemade spaghetti, 8 different salads, and homemade desserts prepared from scratch on site, with family recipes. Every item in this restaurant is from a family recipe. Our Key Lime pie was picked "best in North Carolina", by 11 Travel writers, who drove down to the island just to render a judgement.Come taste for yourself !

When you walk into Dolphin Den, be ready for a smile from your hostess. The service is excellent, as are the entrees. It has a mix of seafood, surf-n-turf, and pasta. The owners are warm too. Come in your flip flops and bathing suit. Casual is the way to be on the beach!
