Peace Montessori is in its seventh year in business and was created specifically to embrace all cultures, academic levels and income levels. We were named Best of Apex Preschool in 2008 and 2009 by the US Local Business Association. We welcome visitors to the school by appointment throughout the school year.

I have been an early childhood educator and teacher mentor for 18 years and have an MS degree in Child Development. When it came to finding the right preschool for my own daughter, I was sure we would never find what we were looking for. When my husband and I discovered Peace, we instantly fell in love with the the program's philosophy, the teachers and the immediate sense of "family community" we found.Now in her third year,our 5-year-old daughter has enjoyed the same loving, skilled and brilliant teachers she has had since her first day of school. Our child has thrived both academically and socially in the Peace environment, which is true to authentic Montessori teaching principles and practices. The program's curriculum and teaching practices are founded in research-based methodology that consistently link to later academic success. As an early childhood professional and parent, I am sure that Peace Montessori was the right choice for our child during her most important years of learning and development.

This is my son's third year at Peace Montessori and we couldn't be happier. As the mother to a child who is very shy, reserved and slow to warm up having him in a preschool where he can thrive is especially important. My husband and I have been AMAZED with the progress and positive change we have seen in our son over the past three years. We cannot say enough positive things about his teachers including the owner/director who has also been one of his teachers for the last two years. They are all incredibly dedicated, patient, calm and enthusiastic about what they do.
My husband and I both agree that if our son was in another school where the teachers were not so conscientious, caring and in tune with our sons needs that he would likely get lost in the shuffle. Instead he is doing incerdibly well both academically and socially. We are amazed at the things that he is learning and cannot believe what a great experience he is having.
The teachers and general philosophy and guidelines at Peace are great. The school has strict policies in place that are designed for the childrens safety and well being and as parents we respect,understand and appreciate these guidelines.
I cannot say enough good things about this school. I volunteer a great deal at the school and I have witnesses the inner workings of the school on many occasions.
We will without a doubt be renrolling our son back at Peace next fall along with our youngest son. We are just so grateful that we found such a wonderful school.
My review is hands down 5stars++++

We have been a part of the Peace family for 4 years, beginning in the toddler class and now in Preschool and the extended day program. Peace Montessori has been such a blessing to our family. My children have been welcomed, accepted, nurtured and guided in an inclusive loving environment.
I wasn't sure when I began my search for a half day preschool that I would find everything I felt important in nurturing my children's growth in one school, but miraculously, I did in Peace. The teachers are well trained, I believe all parents themselves, but most importantly truly believe that what they do makes a difference, and it does! They encourage all the key principles of Montessori, Children's work, feelings, and words are respected. The children are intrinsically motivated and valued for who they are where they are.
I highly recommend this school and the teachers. Peace Montessori has taught me so much, and my children so much more!

I have just reviewed a horrible review, that couldn't be further from the truth. My children have attended Peace Montessori for the last five years. The experience I have had is nothing short of amazing. All the teachers are completely professional and embrace and teach a multicultural curriculum. My children have learned about the world around them without ever having to step outside of the classroom.
Each teacher is Montessori certified and each classroom has vast diversity. The comment made by the person named Dharmish was apparently way off base and it is clear and evident that his facts are misunderstood, from hearing something from afar is not justified in giving a top notch school a bad review. Had he gone and asked the person that he overheard what they meant, perhaps he would know that she would never ever say anything regarding someone's language as she speaks two languages, herself.
Please dismiss this gentleman's review as it is evident he has no idea what he is speaking about.

My son is a student at Peace Montessori and he loves it. The teachers are all well trained and very personable. My son looks forward to going to school and is always in a good mood when I pick him up. I would recommend this school to others.
