Dr. Simpson was my aunts attending physician the day she "died" a horrible agonizing death at Northeast Medical Center. During the hours that she pleaded in vain for relief of her pain he was not there. When she finally reached a point where she was hanging over the side of her bed and instead was begging for death he was still not there. When he finally did get there hours later he told us she was fine. She had a little gas. One hour later she went into respiratory failure and had a cardiac arrest. She was resuscitated and put on "death support". She officially died two weeks later. "Unsatisfactory" is an understatement of universal magnitude.
I HAD TO HAVE SURGERY ON MY RIGHT CALF TO REMOVE WHAT OTHER DOCTORS THOUGHT WAS A BROWN RECLUSE BITE, IT TURNED OUT TO BE A RUPTURED CYST. DR. SANDERS WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND VERY KIND DURING THE PRE-OP AND POST-OP VISIT. HE DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE SURGERY AND THE STAFF WAS JUST AS WONDERFUL. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. DR. SANDERS AND HIS STAFF GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND. DEBRA SPESS, R.N.
Piedmont Surgical Clinic has been around for a few years. They have an excellent patient base. They are up and above in caring for their patients. I have had business with Dr. Simpson in the past. Both times was during emergencies. Dr. Simpson steped in and took care of everything. He took the time to explain evrythign to me in great detail.
PROS: Dr. Simspon!!
CONS: Staff not on top of things as they should be.
