I was a former resdient of this property in 2008. I have since moved and relocated to Massachusetts. My time there was pleasant, and the property was taken over by a new manager back in late 2007. He is very attentive to resident needs, and has a great personality. The former manager was not very good at keeping up with maintenance and grounds and was only at the property sparingly. The newest manager has fixed most if not all the problems the property had beforehand with both maintenance as well as resident issues. If I didnt have to relocate I would still be living there. The apartments are in good shape for being almost 30 years old and it is economical to live there yet still be so close to Lake Norman and the schools in the area, as well as tons of recreational type happenings. Lakeside has fair amentities for an older property and I know the current manager had spoke about possibly adding some newer ones for everyone to enjoy. If you are looking for a decent place to live in a small complex, that is relatively inexpensive for the area and is close to nearly everything you could want, I would recommend Lakeside Apartments as your best bet.

Pros: great location, great customer service, inexpensive living

Cons: older property so not a ton of amenities, the ones there are good though.
