5 Stars: Southern Jewelers is like Family (by Angela G.)

I absolutely feel like family in Southern Jewelers. I have bought from Lora since 1992 when we moved to Sanford. She was actually one of the first people I met when we moved. during the move I had broken a chain. I took it there for repair and have been sending my husband for every occasion ever since! Thanks for all they do for their customers and this community! AJG

1 Stars: Poor Quality and Service (by Jane D.)

My husband purchased my engagement ring and wedding bands at Southern Jewelers, the bands being less than a year ago. While sizing them they cracked a diamond, which took about a month to replace and then on our wedding night I realized in the commotion that i had lost the exact one that they had replaced. That endeavor took 2 and a half months. I decided that I didn't want them to do any further work on my rings and when I went to some other jewelers, they would not even touch them, because they didn't want to then become liable for southern jewelers' bad work. So I took them back and they would not fix them, they gave me just about every excuse in the book. So now I am sitting here only about 8-9 more months down the road, if even that, with a hole where my stone use to be, once again.
