We have been taking our children to northern pediatrics for 4 years now. At first, i had nothing but good things to say about them, but each time we visit the experience gets worse and worse. You will wait a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour to get to see a doctor every time you have an appointment.

The new office is a good idea, on paper anyway. The Well - Sick waiting areas are a good idea, BUT all patients, Sick or Well exit the office by leaving through the well patient side, which defeats the entire purpose of separating the waiting areas. You have sick children with colds & flu symptoms leaving, and possibly infecting, anyone in the Well waiting side.

I have no major complaints with most of the doctors, EXCEPT for Dr. West. We saw her this morning after waiting over an hour after our scheduled appointment time. She was very rude, condesceding, and did not answer any of our questions about our son's medical issue. Then when we arrived at the pharmacy, she did not even send them enough information (dosage, etc) with the prescription for it to be filled by the pharmacist causing us to have to wait at the pharmacist for an additional 30 minutes.

This medical facility is getting paid very well from their patients, so they should treat us much better than they do.

My kids and I Love Northern Pediatrics, they see Dr. Lori McLanahan and they love her and her nurse Marsha. They take their time with them and remembers the little things they like.

On a positive note, I do like the way they have the separate entrances for sick and well patients. To me, the atmosphere is cold, stark and bleak. It has the feeling of a cheap/mass produced health clinic. I miss the warm and inviting atmosphere that made you feel like you were part of the family as opposed to just another person giving them money. I still recommend Dr. Robertson. He has taken the time to explain things to me and trusts my choices and beliefs as a parent.

I take both of my boys here. They are always so kind and understanding. Both of the boys have struggled with asthma and they are always good about getting us worked in asap. We live an hour from the practice but it is well worth the drive for the care we recieve!

My kids have been seeing Doctor Daniels since she was born. She is very professional and personal with her patients. We can see her in the grocery store and she knows my kids by name. Love this practice.

I have been taking my children here for almost 3 years now. All of the doctors on the staff are very well educated. They take their time to listen to your concerns and give you an answer.
