Charlotte Roto-Rooter plumber, Gavin, replaced our water heater on Friday, 6-15-2012. He was on time, very professional, and gave a reasonable quote. He completed the job to our satisfaction. We will definitely used Roto-Rooter again.

I had a leak in the ceiling of my family room. It was coming from the master shower. The previous plumber apparently did not use the proper fittings connecting pex to CPVC. I was reluctant to call a plumber on a weekend not to mention on Memorial Day Weekend, in Charlotte, NC, Since they said there was no extra weekend fee, or service call fee I thought I would give them a try. I called on Sunday May 27, 2012 and within an hour they sent out John, a former US Navy veteran. He fixed my leaky pipe in a few minutes and pointed out the conection on the cold water line that was likely to be a problem in the near future, he fixed it too. I thought the $ amount to fix the problem was very reasonable, I normally do a lot of fix-it projects myself but this job would have required tools that I do not own and I was not willing to see if my attempt would be leak proof. Now I have peace of mind knowing the job was completed professionally. I would call them again without hesitation.\r

First time to call Roto-Rooter. Technician came within an hour. He analyzed the problem and fixed it with no fuss or mess. One of the most polite plumbers I've ever encountered. For having to come to Gastonia from
Charlotte, he acted like I was the only customer of the day.

Excellent service from Roto Rooter yesterday. Plumber was here within two hours - just as promised. Fixed problem quickly and also took time to explain that it was a failed vent in the kitchen sink.

I was very happy with my plumber in Charlotte that replaced my water heater. They had my address wrong but were still able to make it within the scheduled time.

It would have been helpful for me to understand why a 3 hour job cost me $1,400. But I am pleased with the fact that it was fixed so quickly and that I was able to get a free estimate and no trip charge.

Another plumber couldn't solve my problem. I called Roto-Rooter in Charlotte and they sent Dwayne in about an hour. The girl that answered the phone was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Then I got a call to let me know the plumber was on his way.
Dwayne diagnosed the problem very quickly and gave an exact estimate. Dwayne was very knowledgable and told me the cause for the problem and tips on how to avoid in the future. He quickly resolved the problem and cleaned the area better than he found it! He knew just what equipment he would need and had it with him - which the other plumber did not.

And I thought Friday the 13th was going to be bad....!!

There is nothing that feels as good as having a plumbing problem fixed. Mine was troubling as the gurgling toilets attested. The plumber came out and troubleshooted with a camera (yuuuccchh) and then the rooter, and found an obstruction which he cleared. The technology of equipment is truly amazing.

This Charlotte team was in and out fairly quickly and I was totally satisfied.

I was having issues with my downstairs bathroom, toilet being clogged or very slow (to the point where no one was allowed to use that bathroom). I called Roto-Rooter and they came out and snaked my clean-out and problem was solved. At least I thought it was.

A couple of months later the same issue begin again and this time when they came out the technician went thru step by step what all my clean-outs are suppose to do and how they are connected. He ran a camera all the way to the street and we even opened the man-hole and saw where the camera came out.

Then we found the ""Check Value"" and he said ""I bet that's where your problem is"". So we dug out the Check Value and there is was. (1) the lid was not on the Check Value and (w) the Flapper was not connected. He cleaned out all the dirt, re-connected the Flapper, secured the lid and everything was working wonderfully.

The technician explained everything he was doing step by step to the point were I can now explain this to anyone else. He fixed my problem and let me know what to check and what can be done to help prevent this in the future. This is my second time dealing with Roto-Rooter and both times it was been an INCREDIBLE, POSITIVE experience. These guys are GREAT, very professional, on time and patient.

I would recommend them for any job small or big, they are worth it!

The service was great. Have been using Roto-Rooter for 20+ years. The are dependable, Professional and I can trust that if I am not there my wife and family are safe with their technicians in the house. My only issue is their rates are a little high and I wasn't expecting the hourlyy rates to be similar to what companies pay for service on their Fire Alarm and Security systems that are considered Life Safety Systems. I had to pay the extra half hour, which was very close to the first hour ending (3-5 minutes on my Blackberry which is connected to the National Time Center) and would have appreciated the consideration, but it's out of the tech's hands. I will continue to use them though and know I will get the same level of service every time!

I had an issue with the drainage from my washing machine overflowing. We have used Roto-rooter in the past and they have always been able to fix the problem.
The technician was here when he said he was going to be and was very professional. He soon realized that he was not experienced enough to handle the situation, but he contacted someone who was more experienced. The problem was fixed shortly thereafter. I would reccomend Roto-rooter to anyone.

After several months of bi-weekly attempts to unclog our only shower drain, our efforts were finally futile. Reluctantly, I called Roto-Rooter. I hate emitting defeat. They came the same day and Stan quickly assessed the problem and resolved it (my daughter's hair bands and a ""safety shield"" from a shampoo bottle someone pulled off and sent down the drain. Really??!!). He even set me up with a monthly enzyme treatment and told me where to purchase a device that lets me sorta-snake a drain. Very polite, very efficient and very professional. I know who I'm calling next time, too!

We were in desperate need of an emergency plumber last night. We had an issue where the pipes leading from the washing machine had some loose and grey water was standing all under the house, leaving a horrible smell. We had left messages for other plumbers but none of them had returned our call. My husband went under the house on Tuesday to see if he could glue the pipe back together, which he did. My laundry had been piling up since the weekend and so I started a load of clothes. Immediately the water began to back up in the kitchen sink! It was horrible what was coming out of the water! We immediately looked on the internet for an emergency plumber and called Roto Rooter. What a nice surprise when an actual human answered the phone and went right to work to find us a repairman, although it was late. We weren't able to have one that night, but it was promised that the repairman would be at our house between 8 and 10 a.m. The repairman (Ronnie Suggs #203) showed up right after 8:00 a.m. After explaining the situation to him, he recognized the problem, explained the procedure and cost, and went right to work! Mr. Suggs was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful!. As I type this, I am listening to the sounds of my washer and dishwasher running - what a beautiful sound! Thanks to Roto Rooter and Ronnie Suggs for all of their prompt, courteous, professional help!!!

We called Roto-Rooter to assess a persistant clog issue we are having at Ashley Arms Historic Apartment Homes. We are a luxury apartment complex housed in the old Gastonia High School, circa 1922, and have a mix of newer plumbing tied into old, original lines. Ronnie, our service tech (#23-203), ran a camera through our sewer drain and found the problem immediately. He gave us our options to repair our issues quickly and professionally. we will definitely call Roto-Rooter in the future with our plumbing needs.

They were able to fix our problem, so thank you. However, they were late and then called to see if we could reschedule. Then the next morning when they came they charged us $285.00 to use a snake to fix our drainage problem in our sink. Like I said the good news is the plumber fixed our problem here at our home in Charlotte. Thanks for letting us use the 40 dollar coupon that helped out alot (lol).

On Sunday, January 29th, at 10pm all of our plumbing clogged up. The stand pipe drain for the washing machine had been overflowing for a few days and we had been trying to unclog it ourselves to no avail. The rest of the plumbing followed suit late that night. The bathtubs backed up, the toilets started overflowing and when we tried plunging it, the water just poured out into our basement onto the clothes dryer. It was looking very bleak. We started frantically searching the internet for emergency late night plumbers in Charlotte. We called them all and none of them could come to help us until days later. This would not do. Then we called Roto-Rooter. The operator was so nice and reassuring. She said that a plumber would be right over within one hour. It was only about 30 minutes before the plumber showed up ready to help. His name was Stan Sarlovskis and he was AWESOME! Stan is very professional and courteous. He went straight to the basement and assured us that he knew what the problem was and that he was well equipped to fix it ASAP. He quickly quoted us a very reasonable price and let us use a $40 coupon we found on the Roto-Rooter website. Stan got right to work and snaked the whole sewage drain leading out of our house. He told us our pipes are so old that we should use septic safe Scott's t.p. and told us not to flush feminine hygiene products anymore. Also, he pulled many feet of roots out of our pipes. We would never have been able to get rid of those roots on our own. Stan told us other helpful hints to keep our pipes clean and clog free for the future. He said at any hardware store you can find filters to put on the end of the washing machine drain to keep lint and hair from even getting into the stand pipe and that these were about 2 for $1! He gave our pipes a treatment of chemicals to dissolve any leftover clog overnight. He worked tirelessly from about 11pm to nearly 2am! He came back promptly the next day and finished up with a video inspection camera snake. He let us watch the dvd he made so we could see that our pipes were now clean and clear all the way out to the street. We were very impressed with Stan and Roto-Rooter. They came to our rescue so late at night on a Sunday! We are so grateful that Roto-Rooter could fix our problem. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone with a plumbing problem - especially emergencies! They are honest, fast and friendly! Best plumber in Charlotte!

Had them (a) Unclog a stubborn bath sink drain and (b) replace a float valve in a bathroom tolet. Jim the repairman was effective, courteous and efficient.

I live in Charlotte, NC. Recently I needed a plumber because of a leak in the attic coming from the hot water heater. Roto-Rooter sent Ed Noe,a plumber, out within an hour. He was courteous, efficient and explained the problem and the solution. He replaced a part and emptied a water pan. He double checked his work. I would be glad to tell my friends about the excellent service and was completely satisfied that the problem had been resolved.

The service technician (John) was fantastic. He explained everything in easy-to-understand terms and was very patient and helpful with our questions. The actual service portion of my experience easily earns 5 stars. However, taking off one star because of the poor dispatch service. Was told a technician could be at my house within the hour. Upon approaching the 1 hour mark, the dispatcher called to tell me the technician was detained but would be at my home 'soon'. I guess I should have asked for his definition of 'soon' because it wasanother 2 hours. When I called back (30 mins after the 'soon' call), I was told that he hadn't even left hisprevious job yet

Eddie Garcia came out to our house.........a little earier than we were told!! ( they even called 1st!!! WOW)And he was wonderful!! He handled the drain problem and made suggestions..............the best plumbing experience I have every had!!! Won't hesitate to call again.....and aske for Eddie!! He is a gem!!!! We have lived in our home in Charlotte, NC for over 12 years. We have not had a service of any type performed at our residence that we were more thoroughly satisfied with.
Our plumber Thomas (TJ) explained everything in full detail.We were pleased with the patience and proficiency that he displayed in his work.
Originally we called a competitor for our drain blockage and were told to ""leave a message."" They lost a customer that day, but we gained a reliable efficient friend in ""Roto-Rooter"".

I received excellent plumbing service from Marvin in your Charlotte office. I called this morning and he arrived by 1:00 this afternoon to fix my sink. Within 45 minutes the problem was solved. I will call Roto Rooter again when I need a plumber.

Your Charlotte Plumber Rickt was very kind and professional. He arrived, as promised, on the day after Christmas and immediatley set to work to unclog a kitchen drain. He was quick to explain the problem and corrected it in a short order. It was a relief to be able to clean dishes, pots and pans left from our ffestive dinner the night before. He was also kind to give us helpful hints regarding proper use of the disposal, in the future. Rotor Rooter certainly lived up to its service promises and we would not hesitate to recommend the Charlotte Branch.

We've called on this location of Roto-Rooter at least four times over the last 15 years to include today (12/13/11). Each experience has been a pure pleasure, especially given the nature of the problem that prompted a call to them. Attentive, friendly, courteous, honest and most helpful from the time we made the call. Maybe Roto-Rooter national could hold this Charlotte location up as an example for all other RR offices to emulate. I highly recommend this company to anyone with a plumbing problem.
