Language Tots Intl Preschool

I like many of the other parents commenting on Language Tots was initially comfortable with Language Tots because my 4yr old daughter was happy there in the very beginning. However, after having been there for a while and after having experienced many negative interactions and conversations with Ann/Director about concerns that my family had I Can Not Recommend Language Tots to any other parent as a good nurturing and learning environment. I do recall a few of the incidents that I have read about on this site regarding the children and Ann's horrible disposition. I would not ever recommend Language Tots to any other parents!

Language Tots is tough to review. My daughter went here last year and we were both so happy with her teachers. She really enjoyed her time. However, she did have 3 primary teachers during the year and 2 assistant teachers. That is alot of turnover for a 3 year old. But, she did LOVE going and I was disappointed that they did not offer a 3 day program for 4 year olds. So, for the children, I would give it a positive review. However, like many of the reviews state, the administration is just funny. They are just awkward to talk to and give the feeling that you are wasting their time. If they would just improve their interactions with the parents, it would make a huge difference. I almost didn't send my daughter because of that. I am glad I did as she doesn't interact with them much.However, because my child was happy at this school, I would recommend it.

My children have thrived at Language Tots. The teachers are wonderful and my children have learned so much! (I'm very impressed). I really like the philosophy, jolly Phonics, Spanish, french, crafts, smart board and the education of other cultures that this school offers. I would recommend this school to friends and I have.

I would have to agree with many of the comments about this school.At first, I thought that it was just me! The director was very rude and I was dissatisfied that she did not know more about my son and his progress in her school. I really feel like that I teach him more at home than what he learned in the school. I wasted my money for the short time that he was there and we will not be returning. Unbelievable how rude the director is and she was actually not very honest about a situation concerning my son's progress in school.

Do not send your chidren to this dreadful place. The owner/director is such a beast of a woman and is not in the business for the kids but to fatten her wallet. She is hateful to her staff, talks negatively about parents constantly to anyone that will listen and is down right mean to the children when she comes in contact with them. Oh, and she rarely comes in contact with them because she makes it very clear to all teachers that unless the building is burning down or a child is dying do not talk to her in the mornings as she is too busy for any nonsense. At our graduation practice (for Pre-K children) last year she stooped so low that she yelled at the children for singing a song they learned "the wrong way", simply because they sang in a higher key than what she preferred. It really hurt a lot of the childrens feelings and was the most unprofessional, rude and mean thing a DIRECTOR/OWNER of a preschool should ever do.

Keep your kids as far as possible from these phonies and find somewhere that really wants to teach children and truly cares about them, and just dosent see them as dollar signs!

I have never dealt with such a rude be-och in my life. The office manager, Lisa is a miserable miserable human being. She doesn't have the slightest clue how to run a preschool. The Director, Anne isn't much better. I wouldn't recommend this school to my worst enemy. If they will accept our tuition, at the very least FAKE the courtesy.

My goof friend's 2 year old son was KICKED OUT because he did not "fit in" with their school. Apparently it is not OK for a 2 year old to be a 2 year old in this school.

I'm very disappointed with the director and receptionist. I find them to be extremely inconsiderate and unfair after all the business I have given them and its very unfortunate for them to lose my business. The lady at the front desk since day one has been nothing but RUDE. She has behaved with me my friends who brought their children to this school as if we were uneducated and didn't understand things. I found her to be discriminating against us because we were from Southeast Asia. She has no customer service skills and come to think of it neither does the director.

I came to this school because the education was good. I saw it with my older child, but with the second one I didn't see any such progress. My older son, being in this school a little over 6 months was able to read and write short sentences. I didn't see that kind of education for my second one. So their standard has gone down. The high tech class didn't help my child learn to write or be able to read short sentences. It has defeated the purpose of my sending him to school this year. I could have spend that money elsewhere.

The owner, Anne, is completely insincere and has no compassion. My nephew was enrolled in the school until his doctors informed his parents that he had autism. The parents decided to put him in another school that catered to autism and wanted to get their deposit of $600 back from Language Tots. Anne disregarded what the doctors said and told the parents that he didn't have autism and she would not give them their money back.
Imagine having your kids be subjected to such lack of compassion.

My son has loved Language Tots this year! He sings the Spanish songs he has learned all of the time and loves his teachers.

I have been a little disappointed with disorganized communications at times, but if you stay on top of that it is a small thing to deal with as long as your child is happy, healthly, learning, and having fun!

They are a nut-free facility too!
