I had a cancer scare from their faulty lab results (that thankfully proved to be wrong). Rather than re-run the tests, I was referred to a specialist who had me scheduled for surgery...surgery that was completely unnecessary. Be your own best advocate. Ask questions. Don't assume they are incapable of making mistakes...because, in my experience, they are very capable of making mistakes.

Dr Collins has been my primary physician for over 9 years. I have found him very helpful and collaborative for my conditions. I would highly recommend him.

I've been on Medicare for just over 2 years & have never had a problem with ANY doctor that I visit. Other than my Pulmonologist(Dr. Carl Smart), there is no medical practice I would rather associate with than Randolph Internal Medicine.

One of the reasons I would hate to ever leave Charlotte is the terrific medical care my family and I get at Randolph. Specifically, Dr. Collins has become my friend, in addition to, my trusted medical provider of many years.

I was quite shocked, to say the least, when (after over 30 years as a patient) I was abruptly dismissed by my doctor at Randolph Internal Medicine when I called in for an appointment. The reason given was that I'd missed "too many" appointments with little or no notice. This was an absolute lie and I was so shocked, I didn't think to ask for proof. I spent the rest of the day crying because I felt so betrayed,,,and with no recourse! I have a number of medical problems and the only times I could recall missing appointments was when I was actually in the hospital! I wasn't talked with, warned, nor given any minimal consideration before this happened and it will forever affect my trust in the medical profession. Normally, doctors' offices will call a day or two ahead of time reminding the patient of their upcoming appointment and I KNEW I'd never gotten a reminder that I'd ignored. To this day, I have no idea why this happened except I have a sneaking suspicion that it had to do with the fact that, due to disability, I'd become a Medicare-primary patient, which cut substantially into what they could charge. By the way, a few months earlier, after my daughter had become Medicare-primary due to lupus, she had been abruptly dismissed in the same manner. Beware of Randolph Internal Medicine if you're on Medicare.

My husband has used this medical group as his primary care physicians for over 10 years. He has been very satisfied with the level of service that he has received from the physicians.
