Gluten-free crust is amazing. I love the selection of toppings that I can choose from. I have been eating at Lily's for years- my girlfriends and I meet up here everytime they come in town. I love the roasted veggie salad, and the wings are pretty darn good too!! Love to sit outside on the cool vintage tables.

Best Pizza In Raleigh! It is worth the headache parking and the wait! People who complain about those things in their review are crazy! Even on a Friday or Saturday night it does not take that long. Hour tops to park and wait! Totally worth it!!! Their pizza is so amazing with all the unique styles you will forget all about the wait to get the pie!

GLUTEN FREE PIZZA!

We absolutely love this place and always make it a point to stop by whenever we are in Raleigh.

The first time my girlfriend had the Gluten Free Pizza, she cried! She said it is the best pizza she had ever eaten, and even though I can eat gluten, I'd easily put it in my top 10 all time pizzas too!

It's worth everything you've heard. The pizza was so delicious, and I've not had a pizza from there I didn't enjoy. I love going in there. You can occasionally find coupons in some of the circulators that go around NC State if you need a reason to try it. But believe me, it's worth the full price. It is a cute little store on top of being awesome. I wish that I could eat Lilly's Pizza exclusively for the rest of my life, and that would just make everything alright.

Pros: Hawaiian Pizza

Dope head employees stand around jamming to horrible music. You might eventually get whatever they decided to throw in the oven. Maybe not. Tonight was my last attempt to eat at Lilly's. They could give away p**sy with the pies and I wouldn't bother. Don't waste your time on this place. They suck.

Cons: appalling service

The have no respect for the customer. They are a bunch of dope heads just getting by with no idea of how to treat a customer. Much better pizza places throughout the Triangle than this one. Try The Point in Five Points!

Just wanted to update my review. Went there yesterday and it's still as amazing as ever!! You might overlook Lilly's--yeah it's a little sketchy with the waiting in an oftentimes to the door line, seating yourself, and having your name yelled out a million times, but trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. You can't go wrong with any of the Lilly's pies. Don't be lame and order just a cheese or pepperoni slice, go out on a limb--you won't regret it. Five Points, Buddha, Green Jeans are all highly recommended. The salads are to die for as well, particularly the Roasted Veggie Salad--it takes a while, but it's totally worth the wait! Pita points appetizer is super dank as well. All in all you can't go wrong at Lilly's.

Pros: Awesome pizza and salad

Cons: A little bit on the pricey side, sometimes it gets smoky in there from all the pizza ovens cooking that delicious pizza

Our favorite pizza at Lilly's is the Buddha pizza, a vegetarian delight with big slices of tomatoes and lots of mozzarella. We've found them to be reasonably priced with appropriate amounts of food. Their variety of pizzas is definitely unique. Come early on a weekend night because they get packed fast! While parking is not the greatest in that area, it is worth the drive and possibly the walk to eat there!

It is quite a unique atmosphere! There are pictures from local artists hanging on the walls as well as various intriguing sculptures and items adorning the joint. Lilly's has a very chill ''hippy'' atmosphere although you see all walks of life dining there. It is refreshing to see the State students sitting amongst the "white collar" business men and the middle class families. The reasonably priced pizza is the best that can be found in Raleigh/Durham! A very inviting atmosphere that is a welcome "breath of fresh air" from the high-end restaurants that can also be found in this area. A place that every local loves and every out-of-towner should visit at least once!

The Triangle's best pizza! We drive quite a ways to come to Lilly's. All of the pizzas are great, and the sandwiches too. Unlike other pizza joints, Lilly's actually has good salads too -- not just the boring iceberg lettuce pieces in a bowl. This place is known for its food -- but not for its high-class ambiance! Lilly's is a dive, but if you appreciate it for what it is you won't be disappointed. It has crazy eclectic decorations and is often pretty smoky (sit outside if the weather's nice), but it's fun if you're open minded!

Lilly's is an all time favourite. Sure, I've been there when they played the music a little too loud, but you know? they are artists, they rock! Even when once, in 7 years of being a patron they undercooked my calzone, they immediately fixed the problem. I love the quirky atmosphere, funky art and all the awesome local farms they support. One of the many reasons I eat there is the hormone free meat. I am delighted they now have gluten free dough. I have 2 good friends with celiac, and am Proud to offer a rocking pizza as an option for eating out. I used to be vegan back in the day, and would delight in their salads and the vegan cheese option... yeah yeah I might hug trees too, but Lilly's deserves a huge hug from all of us.

I've always loved Lilly's Pizza. My favorate is the South of the Border pie. I drive from Apex to get it. But the last couple of times I've gone I've been disappointed. Lilly's uses all these great ingredients, but if they're not distributed evenly it can result in a bad pie. For instance, last night I thought they forgot the jalepeno peppers. I was wrong. They were on one of my husband's slices. And I got the slice with the chicken, but not much cheese. Do you see what I'm saying? You can't just throw the ingredients on the pie. It's not rocket science, but you do need to make an effort to distribute the ingredients.

This is my favorite pizza place in Raleigh. Hands down. I take my friends and family who visit to this place. Great toppings, great dough, interesting specialty pizzas, fun interesting space. Yes, sometimes the service aren't the most pleasant, but most of the time they are fine and helpful. Its a little chaotic when its busy with the noise, line, etc... but its all in all fun place to eat. I've had pizza all around the country, NYC, Jersey, Chicago, Cali, and Lily's is def top 5 favorite pizza places ever.

The prior review - family unfriendly / bad service - is not to be believed. This same father cursed and screamed repeatedly in front of other customers and toward the staff. Secondly, it was his first experience, not fifth. Lastly, he was so rude & disruptive that he was asked to leave. And for what, a pep pizza that was 10 minutes late!!!! phenomenal. Still the Best Pizza in Raleigh. The crew wants to help you - unless you are an angry, hypocritical sociopath.

Warning parents!

DO NOT go to Lilly's Pizza if want any semblance of customer service. We live in the Five Points neighborhood, and there have been FIVE instances where we have waited over 45 minutes and still received NO pizza. Lilly's is completely disorganized, no one is in charge, and you're out of luck if you happen to visit with hungry children. After five disappointing experiences, where our pizza was "lost" because no one seems to be paying attention to what's been ordered, we have decided to never solicit this place again. On our last visit, we had to demand our money back and a replacement pizza that we ended up carrying home, after waiting over an hour. Seriously, families...don't bother.

Lilly's pizza is amazing. The dough is awesome and they use a lot of really fresh, organic ingredients/toppings. The atmosphere is awesome, but can be loud and very crowded on weekends. I would not recommend taking kids unless it's during the week. The staff seems to be all over the place with service and attitude, but I think the food makes up for the staff problems. Definitely worth a try. Oh, there is ZERO parking so wear comfortable shoes to walk from wherever you end up parking.

I loved this place! Our out of town guests were vegans and were able to find many things they could eat. All of our choices were delicious--with meat and without.

And the atmosphere takes you right back to the 60's (my era)--what fun! If it is too noisy for you, there are lots of tables outdoors. Great location too--walking distance to Rialto Theater.

The pizza is very good, but New York style pizza lovers will be disappointed if you go expecting NY. It definitely has its own style-- the dough is thick, the cheese is very dense, and the sauce is a bit on the sweet side. Definitely recommended, although I don't think I would go as far as saying best in Raleigh.

The Cowtipper is a fantastic pizza, and the salads are great. However, they're kind of jerky when it comes to delivery. We got delivery no fewer than 4 times, then we called in an order and they said that there was a note saying that our house was now out of the delivery area. They deliver to the neighborhood just north of us and to the neighborhood just south of us. Hmmm. Their staff generally has a too-cool-for-school attitude, and they've never been friendly. Too bad.

This place is extremely loud, so forget about any meaningful conversation with your friends. Service is confusing, and it seems the employees don't care. The guy who took my order moved on to the next customer without giving me my drinks. I had to go back to the counter TWICE to get someone's attention so I could get my drinks. 30 minutes later, the first pizza on my order arrived. 30 minutes after that, the second pizza on the SAME ORDER still had not been put in the oven yet because "someone lost the ticket." How did they lose 1/2 of an electronic ticket? When I complained, the manager told me to "come back when we aren't so busy." No one ever bothered to say they were sorry about the way were treated. Don't worry; we won't be back. Ever.

This Place Doesn?t Appreciate Frequent Customers.
I used to eat at Lilly?s three or four times a week.
Once I complained (to the owner) about not getting
any extra topping I had paid for- and he could have
cared less. I had eaten the same pizza many- many times.
I still go- because the pizza is really good -but rarely
now. I think the ownership thinks they have made

This Place Doesn?t Appreciate Frequent Customers.
I used to eat at Lilly?s three or four times a week.
Once I complained (to the owner) about not getting
any extra topping I had paid for- and he could have
cared less. I had eaten the same pizza many- many times.
I still go- because the pizza is really good -but rarely
now. I think the ownership thinks they have made
It and can treat the customers anyway they like.

I love pizza and have tried many places (Buffalo Bros., Mellow Mushroom, NY Pizza, Stromboli's, etc) and none of them can come close to Lilly's! This joint makes the best pizza that I have ever tasted! The salads are fantastically fresh with all ingredients being organic and locally grown. The chicken and artichoke stromboli is excellent! The eclectic environment always gives you something to talk about while you're there, and even after you leave. The service sometimes suffers because of the attitudes of the employees, but when the food is this good...WHO CARES? You can't beat a $10 pitcher of Newcastle either!

Pros: Food, brew, art and eclectic environment

Cons: Parking, the art on the bathroom doors (HA)

Pizza's good but the salads here are even better. Big salads, fresh, tasty, satisfying. The salad is a "meal" not a "side.

we really like this pizza. dough is great and salads are good too. service/attitude has been mostly good and only infrequentlybad--understandably, workers can sometimes be a little less friendly when they're completely slammed.

I recently moved from Raleigh to Charlotte, and I can honestly say that I have considered making the 3 hour drive back just for Lilly's pizza. The atmosphere is eclectic, fun and exciting, and the food, Fabulous!!! If you are lucky enough to live nera Lilly's check it out!!!
