The lunch buffet here is fabulous. I think this is the best quality Indian food in the Charlotte area. The dinner menu is wonderful because you can adjust the heat level. Be warned- their Indian hot is just that. It's SO spicy!

This is an excellent restaurant with very professional waiters. The price is a little high compared to other Indian restaurants but it is worth it. My only complaint is that I like my vindaloo hot. I don't like it toned down.

Pros: very clean, good food

Cons: small

The lunch buffet can't be beat. If you go on a weekend afternoon, it's a bit more expensive but the buffet is larger. It can get crowded, especially on Sundays, so be prepared for that. Ordering from the menu doesn't disappoint either. If you're not sure what to choose, try one of the combination platters -- a good sampling of some of the more popular fare. It's pricier, but it's worth it and you'll almost surely end up with leftovers for a tasty lunch the next day!

Indian style all you can eat buffet lunch with a la Carte menu available. Food always fresh and well presented.Evening dinners are fantastic and this restaurant gets busy. The only minus I can think of is that the "bathrooms" need a clean

My wife and I recently moved to South Charlotte from the Lake Norman area and miss this place desperately. I was never a huge Indian food fan but my wife got me to try Sangam when they opened in Cornelius. The Husband and Wife owners are extremely gracious and run a great restaurant. The place is friendly, always spotless and the service always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent with a great variety. The lunch buffet is the best lunch deal in Charlotte ! Would love it if they'd open a South Charlotte site as we haven't found a good substitute as yet.

Living in an area that has no Indian restaurant, I will not hesitate, when time permits, to make the trek to Cornelius to eat at Sangam. The hosts and servers have always been very professional and courteous. The food is the best part of the experience though! I have had tried many different dishes from the menu and have not had a disappointment yet! The buffet is awesome if you can make it.

Pros: Service, excellent food and extensive choices.

Cons: The restaurant is a bit small, but I am claustrophobic.

This place is really good. The menu choices are vast and the service is superior. I love the Chana Masala the best. The location is good but hard to find as it is off Exit 28 and tucked back a bit past many other shops. The find is well worth the effort though.

A friend and I stopped at this place late one weeknight and were very grateful the wait staff treated us as if we were the first customers. Too often when visiting a restaurant close to closing time, it becomes all too apparent the staff is not super happy you decided to show up!

To my surprise, there was a vegetarian 'thali' dish where you get a selection of various items rather than having to order just one dish. They were even happy to substitute one of the selections in my case. The food was fresh and hot, and definitely worth going back for. I only wish this place were closer to Charlotte :)
