.

I'm 48 y.o. & this was by far THE most horrible hair cut experience I've ever had. The owner ("Vivian"??) is the person who cut my hair. My gut told me b4 I even sat in the chair to run out of there. When I came in she was the only "stylist" there. I watched in horror as she HACKED away at the fellow's hair in her chair. She used the buzz (electric) cutters like a chain saw - leaving gaping holes in his hair. I looked around me at the ladies' whose hair she had "done" b4 I came in - Their hair "do's" were terrible, too. Right b4 I was about to bolt, a lady came in who sported a hair cut similar to what I wanted. The owner of the salon was apparently her regular "stylist". Her hair looked OK to me so I thought - maybe I'm just being too judgmental. My turn.... She bade me "sit" in the chair seconds after she had destroyed the fellow's hair b4 me. I was immediately struck by the sour sweaty odor that he'd left clinging to the chair. He was not a clean person. She didn?t wipe down the chair nor did she sweep up his hair. She also used the SAME scissors, comb, & electric cutters blade that she'd used on his dirty hair w/o even dipping them into an antibacterial solution (glaringly missing from her counter but present at every other stylist's booth I've ever visited). I sat there in his stench like a deer in the head lights. She grabbed the "buzz" cutters & started going at my hair like she was recklessly trimming her hedges. When she was "done" I was stunned. I looked as though someone had stuck a bowl on my head & cut around it (while wearing a blind fold). I asked her if she was going to do anything w/ the top - she looked at me like I was from mars & said "I can cut some more off if you want" & went for the buzz cutters. I said NO - DON'T CUT ANYMORE. I paid the $15 & got out of there & went in search of someone to repair the damage. I found a terrific stylist close by at Linda?s Salon ? the owner, Linda, worked miracles & repaired the damage.
