Dr. Link is wonderful.. The prices are resonable and I think Dr. Link takes his time and makes it right. He dosen't try to add things on that you don't need just to run the price up. I highly recommend this vet.

Dr. Link gets rave reviews in this area but I think he is vet better suited for dogs. Don't bring your cat there ! If you want your cat taken care of, take them to the Albemarle Animal Clinic.

i just left dr link office, i have never met him, i moved to the area a couple of years ago. i have(had) a 14 year old pug. i made that terrible decision, they say is for the best. she was in pain, having a hard time walking, breathing, could not hear, see, ect.so i chose to put her down. dr link was the nearest vet, thank god!! i walked in with tears in my eyes , barely could get the words out that need to put (ollie) my dog down, the lady at front made everything easy and quick,dr link came out right away. and ask me if i want to bring her in or go out to the car, we when out to my car ( my choice ) he gave her a shot to relax her, then then walked away for a few minutes, i was able to spend a few monents with her as she
relaxed , it was like she felt good for the first time in a long time,
dr link let us have our time together, then he came out to give her the final shot. he waited to make sure she had gone to better place
dr link everything easy for us and i'll always thank him
my vet for now on

If I could give Dr.Link less than one star I would. I brought my 16 week old kitten to him that I had just gotten a week before. He had such great reviews that I assumed she would be taken care of properly. I was way wrong. My kitten was sick, she was vomiting, would not eat or drink, had a severe decrease in activity and did nothing but sleep. She was also having severe abdominal pain. Dr.Link gave her a shot for pain and a shot for nausea and sent her on her way with no examination whatsoever. We brought her back again later that day because she was still no better and he gave her yet another shot and told us not to let her eat because she had "intestinal blockage". So the next morning we brought her back with the same symptoms and her not getting any better and he gave her an X-ray which he wouldn't let us see. He said she had blockage and we needed to give her a laxative once an hour and force feed her food even though she just vomits it back up. So we requested her X-ray copies and brought her to Concord Animal Clinic. The doctor there couldn't even READ the X-rays they were so bad! The doctor there gave her a complete check and ran tests on her. It turns out that my kitten has panleukopenia, which is the feline version of parvo. Any vet that isn't ignorant and in a hurry for us to leave should recognize the symptoms of panleukopenia. My kitten is in emergency care now and has been for 2 days. If Dr.Link wouldn't have been so negligent in his "examination" and "diagnosis", we could have gotten our kitten the care that she needed 2 days sooner and she might not be so sick now. I will NEVER EVER bring another animal to him again. If I didn't get her to the second vet that day, and had kept following Dr.Link's orders, my kitten would have died that night. This man is negligent and should not be allowed to practice.

Dr. Link is incredible. My dog had a skin condition the vet we were using at the time was not concerned about so it went untreated. Dr. Link did some test & she had red mange. Dr. Link gave us some medicine and today she is her playful self again. Dr. Link has a passion for what he does and will go the extra mile to get to the bottom of a situation.

I second the other comment. My dot bit in the eye and he spent extra time with us to fix her. We were new to the area and didn't know where the emergency vet was so he told us just to bring her to him. We've been with him ever since.

I have taken my pets to Dr. Link for over 20 years. He is one of the best doctors I've ever known. He's went as far as to meet me after hours at the office because my dog was injured. He fixed him up good as new.
