I love the current building for the Salvation Army. I go to Durham streeet side to deliver everything I am giving away. There is always someone to unload the automobile for me. The workers keep this section nice and not too cluttered as they take in many articles in any given day. I go to the main floor on Tryon road side when I deliver a check to them. I think I always surprise the ladies upstairs when I deliver a check but they are so pleasant to me and always give me a receipt.

I love shopping at the Salvation Army because I think they use the money they receive more wisely than some of the other non-profit thrift store. I always find some kind of something I just have to have when I shop here! They sell furniture, clothes, linens, dishes and cookware, toys, books. You name it and they probably have it. Plus, I think they have better prices on most of their merchandise especially compared to the GCF (goodwill) store!
