Thank you my dear husband for the wonderful gift certificate to Blue Water Spa. It was a Christmas gift that I had been looking forward to using.
The spa is very elegant and beautiful. I was greeted warmly by a very nice man who seemed sincerely happy to see me. I felt like he was welcoming me in to his home.
My treatment included a Bluewater Spa facial and foot treatment. It was just fantastic. The facilist and massage therapist who performed the facial and foot fantasy were extremely talented. They both used the perfect amount of pressure in the massage and they reassured me that they could change the pressure if I wanted them to. The products were wonderful and the massage cream used on my feet had a light natural fragrance that was heavenly. Afterward my skin just glowed.
After my treatment, they applied a natural mineral makeup that I just love. I liked the products but I wanted to see what my skin would do the next day so I didn't want to purchase anything. There was no pressure to buy anything but they did give me samples.
Two days later I came back to get the products and I also purchased a candle. At $50.00 is the most expensive candle I've ever purchased but worth it! The skin care products on the other hand were not expensive compared to many products I've purchased in the past and they perform far better than any products I've used.

My girlfriend gave me a gift certificate for a massage and a facial at Blue Water Spa. I've had many massages but wasn't sure if I would enjoy a facial. The massage was one of the best I have ever had. Actually, the only massages that even compared were at Canyon Ranch in Arizona and massages while vacationing in Hawaii when views of the ocean the desert were available. As for the facial I didn't realize how relaxing and beneficial a facial could be. I am a professional man and although I like to look my best I had never tried a facial before. I really enjoyed the experience. The estehitician did an exceptional job and was very informative. I'm hooked! Overall I could not be more pleased with my experience at Blue Water Spa. I had no problem scheduling an appointment during my lunch hour. The staff was friendly and accomodating.
Next, I plan on trying laser hair removal. Guys, I hear women at my office talk about "gross guys" with hair on their back. So, I'll give laser hair removal on my back neck and shoulders a try and let everyone know how it goes. For now, I can only reccommend the facials and massage

My first time at Blue Water Spa was on Valentine's Day several years ago, when my then boyfriend, now my husband purchased an amazing spa package for me. From the minute I arrived they went above and beyond customer satisfaction. I was greeted with warming smiles as soon as I walked in. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to see me and to take care of my every desire.
My first time experience there is one i'll always remember and that is why I continue to back time after time. My most recent Blue Water spa package was the best experience ever. From the moment I walked in until the time I left, everyone who took care of me was courteous and professional. I had one of the best facials ever, my skin glowed for days and the massage was heavenly. My fabulous husband also included a foot fantasy with this particular package. I have never experienced two therapists massing me at the same time. Jennifer was performing a facial and upper body massage while Micki was massaging my feel and lower legs with just the right amount of pressure. It was so extraordinary I thought I might cry.

I found my way to Blue Water Spa about six months ago. I'm a visual person, so the first thing I noticed was the beautifully designed space. It is peaceful and pristine. Every detail has been thought of. The staff is warm and welcoming, offering a beverage and conversation, but equally willing to let you just sit and relax while you wait for your appointment. The spa offers a wide range of services, from the more traditional massages and facials, to cutting edge treatments (my personal favorites). Distinguishing itself from other Medical Spas and standing a notch the others, Blue Water Spa offers a modern, enchanting escape from the normal spa experience. The luxurious, bright, and open waiting area is a great place to unwind If you enjoy being pampered with a massage or being injected with resylane, perlane, Juvederm or Botox, by the best, Blue Water Spa is the place to be. I've been to most spas in the southeast and many around the world, and Blue Water Spa is the only Spa that exudes a feeling of being grounded and relaxed, even after Restylane or Perlane injections. I am rarely moved to posting user reviews unless I have an exceptional experience, one way or the other. My visit to Blue Water Spa this week was truly exceptional, in the best possible way. It is elegant, warm, and beautiful. Every detail is even better than one could imagine from the delicate natural fragrances of their waiting area to the amazing and truly healing sights and soungs of the two floor to ceiling waterwalls. I honestly felt my stress melt away upon entering the spa. I could tell from my phone calls to them that I would be treated well and they exceeded my expectations, even helping me pick a restaurant to go to after my treatments (and calling ahead for me too!) which was great. I booked The Blue Water Bliss (listed on their web site) and it was amazing. I had a deep tissue massage and it was incredible. My therapist explained everything to me in advance, checked about pressure and temperature, and let me relax and enjoy her wonderful technique as well as the essential oils used for this treatment. Then I had the Signature facial which I had heard about from true spa junkies claiming it was the best ever and I must agree. It was absolutely delicious. I can honestly say it was the most thorough AND most relaxing facial I have ever received. And I've had many, many facials before, all over Los Angeles and spas all over the place. The products are lovely--gentle but very active--and my skin looked and felt absolutely incredible afterwards. Days later it still looks glowy, toned, and hydrated. All in all, this was the best spa experience I've had, from my first call through my treatments and of course enjoying the results afterwards that everyone has noticed. Relaxation+results= I'll be back very soon!

I LOVE Blue Water Spa. I will just pass by and inhale when I'm in the neighborhood. The smell alone is so relaxing. The people there are fantastic. I have been a loyal client for 3 years. The facials are to die for. And the laser treatments are great. You pay as you go. There are no packages, so you do only as many treatments as you want to do. My legs are totally hair free after 4 sessions. I'm now starting my underarms. Laser treatments are not as much fun as facials and massage, but they are not painful and very, very effective.

My husband gave me a spa package at Blue Water Spa for my 40th birthday and it really was the best gift I have ever received. I sometimes think gift certificates can be impersonal, but he really thought about this. He told me that he not only went to the website of all the spas in Raleigh but he visited all the spas that were popular. I was really touched that he went to that much trouble. And, he was right. Everything about Blue Water Spa was honestly beyond my expectation. The environment is gorgeous, elegant and very relaxing and the satff is beyond compare. They seemed to know who I was, why I was there and seemed genuinely happy to see me. I had a package that included a facial, a massage and a foot fantasy. The massage was incredible, but the facial (with the amazing massage) and the foot fantasy simultaneously is somethign every person should experience at least once in their lifetime. As much as I loved the body massage, I have never experienced anything quite like the Blue Water Spa facial massage. To say my face felt happy is not nearly enough.
I never take time to write a review but Blue Water Spa is so exceptional and everyone there really really cares about making each guest feel happy and important. Thank you my dear husband for taking the time to vivist each and every spa in the area. Thank you for choosing a gify that in your words is somethign "I really deserve" HUSBANDS, PAY ATTENTION. For a phenomenal spa experience, Blue Water Spa can't be beat. The spa is beautiful, relaxing and every detail is just perfect. Best of all, the staff is incredible. I am a teacher in Raleigh and I was delighted and so surprised to learn that Blue Water Spa offers special pricing to teachers. I recently moved to Raleigh from CA I love the area but I never imagined I would find a spa like the world class spas back home. My husband surprised me with a wonderful spa package for me and one for my sister while she was here visiting. We were both so pleasantly surprised. The spa is just beautiful and everyone there is very warm and caring. My facialist Samerra was just fantastic. She performed a peel of bliss and it was incredible. I told her I needed some stress releif and she gave me a wonderful facial massage. My skin was glowing after the treatment, even my husband noticed. She also applied makeup beautifully. I told her I just wanted a natural look for daytime but I will go back another time for an evening look. The makeup is mineral makeup so it was fine to apply immediately after a facial. For a gift for yourself or for a loved one I highly recommend Blue Water Spa as the best spa in the Raleigh area

I had this amazing treatment from Blue Water Spa. The massage was out of this world. The massage therapist was incredible. I asked for deep tissue and she really delivered. The facial was really the best I've had anywhere ever. I understand all the award Blue Water Spa has received. it is really the best spa I've experienced. Spas in Hawaii have amazing views but the treatments aren't nearly as good. If only there could be a Blue Water Spa Maui........

I just moved here from San Diego. I love Raleigh, but I am missing my routine and my favorite places to shop to dine and mostly to spa. I went to 2 other spas in the are before discovering Blue Water Spa. One spa was adequate. The other was simply horrible. I was so dissapointed. I was referred to Blue Water Spa first by my pilates trainer and then by the gal who owns my favorite boutique. At the recommendation of my trainer I got a Blue Water Spa facial. I was floored. This was honestly the best facial I've ever had in my life. Really. Ever. It was the most relaxing treatment I've ever had. Better than that, my skin glowed after the treatment. My husband and even one of his golfing buddies noticed my skin. My husband has nejoyed spa treatments too so I scheduled a facial for him. The facialist told me that if I ever want something really special that I should get a facial and a foot fantasy together. It is the facial I described with a facial massage, arm massage and upper body massage while a second therapist massages the feet and lower legs. I scheduled this treatment for my husband and he told me he has never has a better treatment anywhere. he went on and on about hoe great it was. he enjoyed it so much that he purchased a gift certificate for the same treatment for me. I really am so excited to have found Blue Water Spa in Raleigh. If only I could find a really great place to buy seafood..........

Fabulous Day Spa

I received a gift cerficate from my Husband for Blue Water Spa. He purchased their most complete day spa package. It was called the world's Best Day Spa Experience.
I recently moved ere from San Diego and we used to go to spas there and in Hawaii and Arizona. I was delighted that my husband purchased the gift certificate, but I was skeptical that Raleigh really had something really world class. Well, I was deighted. From the time I called to schedule the appointment to being greeted at the spa every person I encountered made me feel so welcome. The place is lovely and clearly they have the very best of everything. The best part were the treatments. Each therapist made me feel so comfortable and so special. The aestheticians and massage therapist were very talented and well trained. They talsked to me about what I wanted, how much pressure with the massage, was I comfortable with the temperature of the room, etc. But, they were quite and allowed me to have blissfiul relaxation during my treatments. I truly think the facial I received was the single best facial I have ever had in my life and I have been everywhere.
When the treatments were completed, I was taken into a private makeup room where I had some mineral makeup applied. I was also given generous sized samples of the products with detailed information on how to use the products. There was no pressure to purchase products. I really can't say enough wonderful things about the spa, the environment and the talented caring staff. Thank you dear husband for a wonderful gift I will always remember. I will be back to Blue Water Spa!

Highest Quality for the Money

When I think of day spas, I think of an overworked staff who does the bare minimum. I received a gift certificate for Blue Water Spa and thought I'd probably find exactly that. I was surprised. The girl who did my facial was sweet. She did an awesome job, and the only time she mentioned products was when I asked about certain skin treatments and even then there was no pressure to buy. I was already relaxed by the time I got to my massage, and didn't honestly think it could get any better. The massage therapist did an awesome job, and I was both surprised and pleased with her genuine concern and gifted touch. The atmosphere was relaxing without it being forced like other places are, and I truly felt I was the focus and not my gift certificate or the money it brought in.

Laser Hair Removal at Blue Water Spa

I LOVE THE RESULTS THAT I HAVE SEEN WITH MY LASER HAIR REMOVAL THUS FAR!!
I have been getting treatments for less than a year now at Blue Water Spa (Raleigh, NC) on my legs, bikini area, underarms, lip and chin. I have very course, dark hair that can be seen under the skin even after shaving. It's awful and really embarrassing, but laser hair removal has been the perfect solution!! It's been incredible!
The experience is great also. Although it is a little bit painful at the time of the service, the pain goes away instantly. It feels kind of like a rubber band or something snapping against your skin. The people that do the treatments are very knowledgeable and are want to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
I would highly recommend this treatment!! I am almost hair free and will continue these treatments until I am totally hairless in all of the listed areas! :) I live in Garner (which is 30 minutes from the office) and it's TOTALLY worth the drive!

This is a first class establishment. The only facility in the area that gave ne prices without trying to sell me a package and who really gave me the science and evidence that showed why their lasers are the best. The people are so wonderful, discrett and compassionate. Blue Water Spa Provides the best laser hair removal in a professional, beautiful immacukately clean environment with great prices and no need to pay for packages up front. They believe that people will come back if their har removal laser works.

Laser Hair Removal - I finally did it and I'm glad I did!

Laser Hair Removal has changed my life and really been like a dream come true for me. I had my treatments at Blue Water Spa laser hair removal center with great success. I did a lot of research about hair removal and I felt very confident about their technology. I was very nervous about my initial consultation. I had unwanted hair in many areas of my face and body and I felt very self concious and embarrassed about my problem. From my first meeting I felt so at ease with the laser hair removal technician. Very knowledgeable, kind and professional and so understanding. I never imagined I would feel so comfortable having a anyone look at the hair that had bothered me for so long.
The laser treatments were surprisingly fast and not nearly as uncomfortable as I imagined. Any discomfort is gone immediately and they rub the skin to make it feel much more comfortable/ I started with the areas that were a problem for me, my forearms, chin and chest (I'm a woman) They told me that they regularly perform laser hair removal in all of those areas and there was nothing unusual about my problem.
I was surprised to learn that I could shave the area and did not need to grow the hair out. I was totally hair free between treatments. The arms and chest were totally clear of hair after 4 treatments. My chin took 7 treatments and I still have a few white hairs that I will treat with electrolysis. I have been so happy that I also have done my whole legs and bikini. They do the whole brazilian bikini laser. They laser everything you want, even if you want it all gone. The entire time they make you feel so comfortable and they are so professional.
I also like the fact that they don't sell packages. they explained that everyone responds differently and that they feel confident that their lasers work so people will come back without having to do so becuse they have a package of laser hair removal treatments. I highly recommend Blue Water Spa for laser hair removal

Fabulous laser hair removal

I had a lot of excess hair on my forearms. I tried laser hair removal several other places and did not have results. I tried Blue Water Spa because a friend told me about her experience. I have totally hair free arms! I have since started getting laser on my legs and bikini area. After 3 treatments, I have noticed a significant reduction in hair. The staff is very professional and kind. I am so happy with my results. If you are considering laser hair removal, go to Blue Water Spa and Dr. Law

Effective, comfortable and professional laser hair removal

My experience at Blue Water Spa laser center was wonderful. The laser treatments were fast and comfortable. And, most importantly, the treatments worked. I noticed less and less hair after each treatment, after 5 treatments the hair was gone. I do still have a few sparse fine blond hairs but all of the dark hairs are gone.
I did a lot of research before making the investment in laser hair removal and I determined that the lasers at Blue Water Spa are most effective, the staff is very well trained and discreet and Dr. Law has excellent credentials. They also replace the lasers often to make sure they are up to date. I highly recommend Dr. Law and the Blue Water Spa laser center for laser hair removal.

I had my back neck and shoulders lasered at Blue water Spa. There was less hair reach time. I just finished my 5th treatment and I am hair free. The staff is very professional, kind and discreet. The treatments were not uncomfortable and they were very fast. The prioces are fair and they have discounts for firefighters, military and others, so I got 20% off. I highly recommend Blue Water Spa for hair removal.

I wrote a negative review about The Laser Hair Removal at Blue Water Spa several months ago and I'm sorry that happened. I did not get the hair reduction I had hoped for immediately and I was angry. I called, but honestly I didn't give them a chance to offer suggestions. Since my first hair removal treatments, I received a gift certificate for a facial and did go for that service. The eshtetician convinced me to listen to the owner. She was very understanding. She took a lot of time with me explaining a lot about lasers and how they work, and why the lasers they have are so effective. She explained a lot. I did research on my own and everything she said was absolutely true. I appreciated all the time she spent. I changed the birth control I was taking after talking to my gynecologist and since then laser hair removal has been very effective. Everyone at Blue Water Spa has been very nice and supportive. They even offered me one session at no cost. They said I could continue my treatments if I saw results but they didn't want me to continue treatments and spending time and money if I didn't see a change. I feel like they are genuinely interested in maiing me happy and giving me the results I want.. I am so glad I got a gift certificate to the spa and gave them another chance.

I finally got the courage to get Botox. Like a lot of people, I had frown lines I didn?t like, but I was afraid of pain and most of all getting an unnatural frozen look. I know several people who have had surgery with Dr. Law and they look great. I went in for a consultation and there was no pressure.
I think I look 10 years younger and just pretty and refreshed. I have had people ask if I?ve lost weight or changed my hair. No one knows it Botox, but everyone notices a difference.
Oh, it didn?t hurt a bit!

I've visited BWS twice for laser hair removal on a friend's recommendation and have nothing but good things to say. This is my first experience with any kind of professional hair removal and was nervous about it beforehand. However, the aesthetician I worked with was wonderful. She was professional, thorough, and very understanding about my concerns. The procedure itself was quick and, while uncomfortable in some places, very effective. The discomfort was very manageable though. I would recommend Blue Water Spa to anyone looking for laser hair removal.

Brazilian Bikini Laser!!!

I have been getting brazilian bikini wax for years. Although I hated growing my hair out, I didn't realize that brazilian bikini laser hair removal was an option. My experience at Blue Water Spa was superb. I was told I would need between 5 and 7 treatments for complete hair removal, but I just completed my third treatment and the remaining hair is very sparce. I may need just one more treatment.
I am so comfortable with the staff, they are very professional, kind and discreet. I am getting hair removal in other areas and they assured me that they treat unwanted hair in all areas of the face and body.
Before my first treatment, I did a lot of research about hair removal lasers and it is evident that the lasers used at Blue Water Spa are the best. The treatments are fast (just 10 minutes for my bikini area) and actually not uncomfortable. A brazilian bikini wax is far more uncomfortable than laser of the same area. I also like the fact that a board-certified plastic surgeon owns the practice and is on site. It's nice to pay for just one treatment at a time. I have known several coworkers who have paid for series of laser hair removal treatments in other establishments that suddenly go out of business. They then lose their entire investment. It makes me feel like they are confident that I'll be back by not asking for all the money up front.
I do wish that the laser could work on blonde hair. I was told that treatment would not effect blonde hair, so I was not counting on it. But, I still have some blonde facial hairs I'd like to get rid of.

Still Got Hairs!

I had high hopes for the hair removal. I didn't have a lot of problems just 5 wild hairs that were growing in. I had done 6 treatments to remove a few hairs from my face. Well it only worked 2 of the 5 problem dark hairs. The 2 it worked on are lighter and softer now. The other 3 hairs never were affected by the laser and are still there. The staff was nice but not as helpful as I felt I needed for this. I followed the scheduling and didn't miss an appointment. After spending that kind of money I expect them to at least be fine and not noticable! But nope, they are still there...
Pros: Supposed to be easy and work.
Cons: didn't remove the hairs or even make them lighter!

Highly rated - and justified!

I found this laser center on the web and went in for a consultation and treatment following. It was very professional, clean and crisp with wonderful smells and very nice women. I was given water with fresh lemons while I briefly waited in a very relaxing environment. As for the treatment, I was fully educated on the process and particular laser used on me - which is said to be the best in the business for the cooling factor (with no need for the use of gross numbing stuff). So far I've seen noticibly less hair and overall was very satisfied with my experience. I will be a return customer.
