I've been going to Trendsetters for more than 4 years and they're still working with me. Even though I change my mind often about my cut, short, longer, layered, not; they're very patient with me! I also get my hair colored and highlighted and have always been pleased with the coloring service, first it was Paula and now its Yung who is doing it. Keep up the good work ladies. I'll see you soon:-)

Trendsetters is in a great location, close to home not too far away at all. I didnt have to wait a single second to be brought back. They were all smiling and and the girl who cut my hair made conversation...it was like we were already great friends. I really liked how before she even touched my hair she asked what i was wanting to do with my hair. No one ever does that. And I was really pleased with the fact that she wasnt scissor happy at all!!! She really listened and I am really pleased with my hair. It looks fabulous!

Sure sounds like "amfa" is the inner workings of the owner to offset the negative but truthful review of "dorothy123".

I have to agree with dorothy123...the owner is NOT helpful at all and doesnt seem to have a clue how to do hair herself. The environment IS gossipy and UNprofessional.

I've lived in Fayetteville for 2 years now and recently visited Trendsetters for the first time. I have to say its the prettiest salon I've seen so far and I've been to several different ones here in town! Very professional atmosphere!! I was impressed and happy with my service, thanks for a job well done!

I spend WAY to much money on this place! many times and each time i was unsatisfied. Many of the stylists were rude and really are not there for you. Only your money. I have told the lady that i was unsatisfied with the outcome of my hair, and she said you dont like? and i said no. She than said i do and walked away. she should have offered to redo nad you didnt. AND ON TOP IT ALL I STILL PAID!!!!

I moved here from Maine a few years ago and a neighbor recommended Trendsetters. I usually go to the mall for "quick cuts" and wanted something more professional! This salon is very professional and I loved the big mirrors! Everyone was very friendly and inviting! Trendsetters is definitely in a league of its own! I will go back!!!

I've been getting my hair cut at Trendsetters for a couple of years now and have never gotten a bad cut. I've come in as a walk in customer several times so I've used a few different stylists. They've all been wonderful, but Jessica is definitely my favorite. She gave me the best cut I've ever gotten!Their prices are very reasonable, a cut/wash/blow-dry is only $30 and I've never seen anyone leave there with bad hair!Everyone is very friendly. The only negative thing that I can say is that I don't like the sinks they wash your hair in. The edge always puts a lot of pressure on the back of my neck. I recommend you ask your stylist to put a towel there to cushion it if you want a more comfortable experience.

I have had my highlights done for years with no problem at other salons. I lost my hairdresser and went here.. I went to Yong several times to have my highlights retouched at the new growth. I began to notice my hair was breaking off each time. The hair broke off at the bottom half (not near the root where the highlights were being done} because she would wrap the bottom half of hair in with the bleach on the foil. I tried to explain this to her and the owner with no help. The atmosphere in the salon is very gossipy! The owner would sit up front (never doing hair herself) and talk with the stylist and giggle. The owner would blame you and provide no help for any of her stylist mishaps. I would not advise anyone to have their hair done here. Very unhelpful, unfriendly staff. Very very childlike atmosphere. Uncomfortable chairs, everything is black and gothic in appearance. Shelves and decor look like something in a dungeons and dragons game.
*If you get highlights done be careful here... they gave me what they call "leopard spots". Yong gave me this the last time I went. It is when the bleach spill out of foils and causes spots in the hair. I will never go back!

Wow! Dorothy 123 you seem a little over the top! I have been going to Trendsetters for many years and have referred many clients to these girls. It is probably the least gossipy salon and has a reputation as a professional but very friendly salon, and when did laughing become a negative enviorment to be in? You're review is a little too mean spirited for me.

it took so long for me to grow my hair as long as I did. i wanted highlights and I've seen that sometimes some hair comes out, but this was ridiculous. I'll never go again, I'm left with half the thickness of my hair now and it's still not the way it was, texture wise and I've not colored it for almost 6 months.

Have been giong to Trendsetters for about 2 years give or take. Myself and 2 teenage daughters. First experience was with Brock for my daughter in hopes of fixing a whack job cut from someone at Fantastic Sams, I really though it was hopeless and was resigned to my daughter having to shave her hair and start again. Brock took her without an appt and completely transformed the mess into a super cute up to date short style and saved the day.
The staff remembers our family members when we come in, and that is very hard to find anywhere. Every stylist is competent in their job and willing to only do what you ask to be done or to serve up suggestions.
The shop is always clean and "fancy" without being overbearing. I love the huge mirrors set on the floor and find them quite unique.
Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of care.
We love this salon and I recommend it to anyone that asks "Where is a good salon?"

This is the only place I have found in Fayetteville that can cut men's hair. I told them I was in a hurry and they were able to attend to me in less than 15 minutes as a walk in no less. Brock was able to finish my hair in the short time I gave him and he did an excellent job, and charged just $14.00. I could not believe it. Any chop shop in Fayetteville would have charged nearly the same for hair as long as mine. I paid over twice as much in Charlotte and they didn't do half as well. I'll definitely be returning.

I went in for the first time today and had a very pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and very prompt with their services. Lindsey gave me a great highlight and was right on time! She was professional and very quick, yet thorough. The salon had a nice clean atmosphere. This salon provided a GREAT value without losing the feeling of a higher end salon! I will be going back when in town!! Bottom Line - "Trendsetters" lived up to its name!

I've been to this salon 2 times before and Maryanne was great with my hair. I never had to wait for an appointment and I arrived at each one on time if not earlier. The 3rd time I arrived at 515pm on a Friday, w/ my appointment at 530pm. I checked in and read a magazine. When I fainlly recognized it was 15min past my appointment time, I was irritated to learn the person I checked in with nor the stylist took the time or courtesy to let me know they were running late and why. I talked w/ the rep and she didnt have an answer. I left disappointed in the lack of professionalism and my lack of planning to get a haircut on a Friday night 1/2hr before closing - they didnt want to cut my hair nor would they have done a good job.

I got 3 great haircuts here before moving to Michigan. I recommend going to see Jen Petite. She took time to listen, was easy to talk to, and was very professional. I started with a trim for my first cut and then decided to try something new. Each time she did a great job. She takes time at the end to make sure the cut is even before she starts to style. Great experience!
