Pep Boys is Garbage

ahahahaha ramon the guy who got fired for paying some mechnics to work on his car without writing up a tickect...ramon the guy who does a state inspection on his own car and doesnt pay for it...ramon the guy who over charged a customer $2,300 worth of stuff she didnt need....a pretty honest guy right NOOO....a company that doesnt give a (cuz word) about their employees bc no body has recieved a rasise in 3 years BUT the managers still get bonuses...a boss man that smiles in your face and right wen u turn half way around stabbs u in the back or grabs ur butt if ur a female.......PEP BOYS SUCK

Duhh reviewer D.N.A... Of course they are not going to accept credit card payment over the phone. For all they know you could be using a stolen card or someone elses card without their authorization. I know I wouldnt be happy if someone stole my credit card then used it to buy tires over the phone. But anyways, I personally went there to have my oil changed and tires replaced, rotated, and balanced, and just to have them take a look to make sure everything was ok and nothing was out of whack. Ramon was the manager on duty at the time and I asked him if he could take time to look at my car b/c I didnt want anyone else doing it besides a manager b/c I explained to him what a bad experience I had at another location (not a pep boys) and sure enough he had no problem doing that for me since they were not busy at that time. He put the "customer first!!!" He gained my respect and I will always go back to pep boys and if hes not working I will not let anyone else do my car. He didnt try to charge me for excess stuff that I didnt need.. He was very honest with me and professional and on top of all that everything was done in a very timely manner. Pep Boys, you guys have an EXCELLENT manager working for you!!!

No Way To Treat A Customer

I went to this Pep boys because i was new in town and was familiar with the chain. I've had several oil changes and purchased a pair of tires a few months back. I only had the money for the oil change and was informed my rear tires were showing the steel belts and how dangerous this was. The problem occurred when i made arrangements with family members to help me with this emergency and utilize their credit card to purchase the tires. Only to be informed by Ramon that they "WILL NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS VIA PHONE" and went back to his business. I said that since I'm unable to get the tires drop the car so i can find some place to get my tires. Then i was informed they already drained the oil from my engine. After completing the oil change for 85.00 they sent me off riding the tires they just told me were dangerous. If this is what they consider customer service for someone who has been a loyal customer since my move i can only say BEWARE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY. I will never go back thank you Firestone on New Hope you guys truly helped me out of this jam.

Unpleasant Tone

Called to check avaiability of a part and man on the phone was uncooperative and unpleasant. I would not recommend driving all the way over to their location without knowing if they have what it is I am in need of.
